Just bought an i5-2570k and a GTX 260, they should be arriving within a week, could anyone tell me if these will provide a smooth experience in WvWvW? My current system chugs horribly when more than 5 people are fighting at once…

How much did you pay for the GTX260? That is an old card.
What is the rest of the system like and what lcd you using?

GTX460, still old and better cards out there. Now that depends on how much you bought it for and which version, if the SE or 768mb version, then not a good card.

You will want to OC the 2570k, as GW2 is more cpu bound, but you need a good cooler and proper airflow.

The rest of your system will be also a factor, including ram, HDD, Resolution and network.
