Have this exact same issue. I’ve tried disabling firewalls, resetting my IE settings (what Tech Support told me to do), closing and opening the downloader, updating drivers (they were already up to date), and a few other crazy things I can’t even remember.
Update:
Problem fixed. Apparently you just have to let it sit there. It says it is 0.00kb/s, but it is slowly downloading. I just let it sit for about ten minutes and it finished.
Just bought the game a few hours ago, and I’m having this issue.. I’m hoping that sitting here @ 0.00 KB/s will somehow fix the issue. I don’t want to feel like I wasted $60 anymore.
I am having this exact same issue, it’s stuck at 1KB left to download at 0.00KB/sec. I haven’t played much but have been logging in once every few weeks and haven’t had any patching issues until this one. I have had the same computer since last summer so it’s not a settings issue.
I also bought the game today and have the same problem. I have tried uninstalling avast and messing with my firewall. I haven’t yet let it sit for 10-30 minutes as a couple of people said, but I will try that now to see if it fixes it.
I can confirm that letting it sit for a while might fix the issue. After reading that people just let it sit for 20 minutes or so I tried the same thing and it did eventually download the last file even though most of the time it said the speed was 0 kb/s
A person on the Mac forums said they had this issue and he said “changing the language in the top right corner caused the whole patch to re-download and complete” he did note that Spanish did not work, but French did.
This may or may not work for you guys, but maybe if a dev sees it, it could help then to troubleshoot this issue.

I think that it’s because everything has actually completed downloading and is then being installed. So just sit tight and let the program do it’s thing, it’ll eventually install everything and will be ready to play.

I can confirm this works. I jsut tried it when my patch was stuck at 1 file and this is what finally fixed it.
