Please reactivate culling in PvE
Since culling has been removed many players are having issues with slow framerates, and reboots to the desktop (look around here in this forum).
I myself notice frequently that all of the sudden large groups of players (30 or more) come around for an event, moving in from far away, slowing down my framerate until it almost freezes, and next a reboot with an out of memory error. As a result I"m unable to play most of the new content.
Note that this did NOT happen when culling was active. So please reduce the amount of visible players once more, at least in PvE where you don’t NEED to play with so many people at once.
the option for cull is still there but is now client side rather then forced by the server go to graphics option there is character limit and character detail option lower these

Personally I would love to see culling back in PvE or at least an option for it. As it is now I have to run with the lowest culling settings to get anything of a respectable framerate when there’s any sort of crowd around. Granted the game runs fine with the lowest culling settings but everyone looks like cotton candy blobs of blech. With culling on I only saw the people in my immediate vicinity and I could actually see what they looked like instead of generic pink models.
Culling will not be put back into the game so basically we are left to deal with performance issues on our own.
Do not expect any help with performance issues in this forum. It is overclock your modern CPU or deal with the garbage fps.

Culling is there… set it to Medium or Lower…
Yeah Storm I know but I would still love to see them actually try to improve the game
And Dj thats not true culling its a graphics option work around with those settings. Culling actually removed people from your screen so you couldn’t see them at all and they didn’t render at all. The way it is now the game renders everyone in the area.
