Guild Wars 2

I have played GW2 for more than year now on the same config and get green screen flicker randomly not depended on locations or anything else.
My config is:
Core i5 2400 – 3,30 GHz | 8Gb RAM | GeForce 560GTX OC 1Gb VRAM

My video drivers are always up to date and I have tried numerous versions from oldest to newest and in-between, problem never get solved this way.

At time this blinking really gets annoying and I can’t be the only person with such issues since I don’t have similar problems in any other games. Overheating can’t be the cause of it because I have enough coolers and temps don’t go beyond 75-80 C degrees at maximum loading plus I keep my rig maintained at all times. Very odd problem tbh…

Is it only GW2?

I would say maybe it’s your monitor cable/loose connection if it happens everywhere (including your desktop). If it only happens in games (all games) I would say your video card is probably dying.

If it only happens in Guild Wars 2 then I am not really sure.

I have similar problem. From time to time, but only during farming train in queensdale or doing some dungs i’m getting single blue flicker. My temps and voltages are perfect. Im using gtx 770. Problem occurs only in gw2.

Yes, I can’t certainly say it’s green or blue (or both?) but it’s really odd glitch considering GW2 isn’t that demanding game and runs most of the time on firm 60 FPS.

It’s only GW2, and I assure you, I haven’t any problems with monitor or other hardware.

Youre talking about GPU temps here,but how is your CPU temp,or even Northbridge temp ( wich can get quite hot on some mobos ) when this happens ?

So any ideas? Anyone have same problem? I have about 60 C during playing on both gpu and cpu. (i5-3470, gtx 770).

I had the same problem with radeon 7970.

CPU Core i5 2400 known as icecold one. It doesn’t tend to heat too much even in big CPU core overloads, have been playing BF4 (multi) for ~3 hours now, according to CPUID Hardware Monitor, each core temp doesn’t exceed 61 C degree, which is quite cold. I can post few reports if you like.

Also if my CPU would be melting, I’d get stuttering, freezes or shutdown, but not graphical glitches (a.k.a. artifacts) on the screen which is tend to be GPU issue in general…
