Running 2 clients on one PC?
virtualbox emulation wouldn’t be able to run the game.
IMO, probably better just to build a better 2nd PC.

Your solution about building a second PC is currently not available to us, but thanks for the reply anyway. My question still stays the same, if there is a way to use one PC to run multiple games with multiple plugged keyboards and mice.
If u have 2 videocards (1 for each monitor no need for clorssire/SLI compatibility) and a powerfull enough CPU or a dual CPU mobo is possible
Let’s say I have what it takes. How would it be possible? With which program etc.?
I dont really knot the name of the software atm, but i have seen it live in cibercafes and stuff like that, i was courious and asked the manager how it worked and he explained me he needed a multicore CPU, 2 videocards, 2 hardrives obviously and a sofware to manage the hardware resources (split the ram and CPU cores), something like this:

So it is posible u just need to do some research about the sofware to do it.

Virtualization can’t use SLI / Crossfire cards, you have to have one dedicated to the VM specifically for this, but since the main system will still use the card, it still wouldn’t be any good.
That said, Virtualization never will be an option due to how un-optimized GW2 is. As said, your best bet—nay, your ONLY option, is to build / buy another computer.
Splitting RAM and cores is not a good idea either. What if I wanted to take control of your right arm/hand with my brain, and you have the rest of your body :V

I said THERE IS NO NEED FOR SLI/CROSSFIRE compatibility, If u have a powerfull enough processor with a bunch of cores (i7 SB-e 6 cores or AMD 8cores) and 8gb+ ram and 2 videocards (1 for each monitor) it is possible, theorically. Even while GW2 is unoptimized it does not push hard on all ur CPU cores it only need 3 intel cores or 4 AMD to achieve maximum performance.
You may find it’s just cheaper to have a second pc, definitely will be more versatile.
Okay so after some mroe googling etc. I actually came to a solution. I’ll do it with SoftXpand. I already installed the program and it works, I’m logged in with 2 different keyboards, 2 different mice and 2 different users. I’m making a copy of GW2 for another user right now. If it works I’ll explain everything and maybe even make a video about it
oh and btw I really hope this is legal, don’t want to get my account banned or something…so if any forum mod or def sees this please let me know before it’s too late!
IT WORKS! I actually just made it work.
It was a lot more simple than i expected it would be. I just installed softxpand (kirito recommended it – thank you!), connected both keyboards and mice to my pc and boh monitors and restarted the pc. It then automatically started up 2 different users and then I had to make 2 copies of guild wars 2 installation folder (for each user) and then simply started Guild Wars 2 on each user. My friend let me borrow his account to try this but I’m buying another one for my girlfriend now that i see it works
When I was running guild wars 2 on both users at max graphics it did lag a little but, fps went fown a bit but then I just simply lowered the graphic quality and now I can play both without ANY lag, normally, smoothly.
My PC specs:
Intel Core I5-2500 CPU (quad core)
8gb RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 TI (overclocked too 900mhz)
I’m pretty excited about this because I never thought it would work so if anyone is interested I can make a video or tutorial for it.
Thanks again for all the replies!
highfive That has to be one of the cooler things I’ve seen done with one PC. I’m going to take a gander at this softxpand, this might help my siblings at home who share a PC.

Pretty amazing indeed, they have improved this kind of software at the point u don’t even need multiple graphics cards anymore.
Wow, thanks for the education.
I actually made a video about it! Check it out
