Guild Wars 2

Hi,

Since a few days ago the server (seafarer’s Rest) is very laggy in any aspect of the game, pve or pvp, especially the prime time. This is not only happening to me or to my country players but also to other people from other countries.
Anyone else facing the same problem? Any explanation of this?

Happen to me right now, don’t know why but everything lags about 5-6 seconds per action; just hope is a current provider’s problem…

Me too.. its been happening since Sunday. My service provider is 02.. Wired or wireless the problem is still the same.. Restarting the router does not help.

My guess is they are having bandwith problems with the servers.

I would agree with this because of guesting. That server might be experiencing a high number of people guesting to the server. Arenanet might not have anticipated the anticipation of the guesting feature and arenanet might have miscalculated the amount of resources it takes to have so many people guest on one server.

Lagging, disconnecting and getting stuck in loadings too. Has been going on for a little more than one hour here. Pretty sure it’s not my internet since other games work just fine and I have a good internet connections. SFR server of course.

Lag stopped and problem fixed half an hour after this post.

Ditto that. Even right now, not at primetime, everything’s frustratingly lagged.

The thing is that this lag happens even before the patch…like someone else said, since Sunday or so… I don’t know what’s wrong but prime time is unplayable at the moment.
Please Anet take a look at it.

Desolation is also extremely laggy. I haven’t been able to complete the new achievements. I played until my character stopped moving completely. After a lag of 5 minutes, and my character getting killed by mobs, I stopped the game again. I really hope I ll get the chance to play today.

I have the feeling the lag gets worse with time or with the achievements. In the beginning I was ok, but as I play it gets worse and worse and unplayable.
