Screenshots folder moved
It’s always been in my documents at least for me, may be if you were still using the beta client and change to the release client because you had to reinstall Guildwars. I think the beta client save them in the same folder as the game
put the correct term in but not everyone has kittens

I hope I’m not running the beta, saddy for my the game is not on my “c” drive and now the screens is and it is causing me issues
I guess this is not to pressing of an issue for most users but for me it REALLY sucks!
This small change means each and every time I save a screenshot I must back up 7 steps then go forward 3 more to get to where my screens are kept. ( I run windows on a virtual drive so if I don’t save my work it is lost) That directory is currently 6.7g worth of images, 100% uploaded to the official wiki for the betterment of the community. Changing the default directory for my photo editor doesn’t work. So as I said this is not a big issue for most but for me it is just one more reason not to contribute or even continue playing since wiki editing is 99% of why I am still playing.
It’s always been “C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Guild Wars 2\” for me. I’ve played since the pre-release.

I also have played from the start, but for some reason mine was in the Guildwars II directory under screens. I surely didn’t move it or make it, it installed that way. Now they are saving in a virtual location, and my memory will hold maybe two shots without crashing me, so I am back to verifying things by hand using pen and paper rather than just hitting the screenshot button. Very hard to document faster things like events and stay alive. The screens I do take are only area shots now and then I must rename save and re-find my save directory. It’s just really odd that this would just up and move on me.
Try this:
Delete the folder “C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Guild Wars 2\Screens”
use this command:
mklink /j C:\Users\<user>\Documents\Guild Wars 2\Screens <where you want to save them>
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc753194%28v=ws.10%29.aspx
This should create the “Screens” folder as a junction and all images directed to another area.

Thank you very much Xystus for this hint… I forgot to mention I was running XP so this command is not supported but, it gave me enough info to find what I needed. For XP the correct link is :http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896768 which will download a program called Junction v1.06 which did work!
Thanks again for your help, mark this as problem solved!

Same here.
