Anybody else just disconnect? I also cannot log back in.

Yes, I am unable to connect. Was going back to character selection and it just loaded black, so I closed the client. Now I can’t login at all.

Yep, same here. I got to the character login at one point but then DC’ed again at the loading screen.

Can’t log on either. I keep getting this error everytime I try:

Same issue here, was selling on the trading post, went to re-log and having the same issue as others.

My American friends are still playing just fine. I and another friend, both in Toronto, have been DC’d and can’t get back in.

Was trying to purchase from the TP and kept getting an error so I logged. Now servers seem to be down for me also.

Doesn’t seem to matter where people are from, i can’t get back on after going to char select but other people from the UK are still playing on vent, along with Canadians and yanks.

I just tried logging in and it keeps telling me it can’t access the log-in server, after a really long wait to log in.

Not only that but I’m noticing that it let’s me get to the loading screen before DC’ing me again, and that loading screen has me in Mt Maelstrom, someplace I haven’t been since last night :x hope that’s not an indication of a massive rollback.

I can get to the character select screen about half the time, but it’ll pop up an error about connection issues before the game loads and kick me back to the launcher.

No they are down. I got booted in the middle of my mission. I can get to the charachter select screen but it errors trying to get into the world.

Kicked out in the middle of my storyline quest, and now cannot log back in. It says I cannot connect to the game server at this time.. and it says the problem is caused by either a campus network, or firewall settings. or router. I am not on a campus, I dont have a firewall, and I dont have a router. What the heck is going on?
I can now get to the character screen,but it kicks me again during the character loading screen. And its not the Northeast… Im in Arizona, and get error code 42:5:7:878:101

Down for me too, my friend however is playing fine (though he is on the other side of the US). I live on the east coast, so are only some of the servers dead or something?

It is back up for me.

Edit: Well, it let me get to character select and then promptly gave me another network error.

I am getting a long wait when pressing login. Some of the time I get to the Play button and the CC screen, but after I select a character and get the loading screen, the firewall/router error message will pop up. The same is happening to my husband. We’re in the UK playing on a US world.

Any word from Anet as to when there servers will be fixed and the game accessible?

From where I sit, the servers have been down for hours, is this a maintenance window or something?

East coast here to but now it wont even let me get to the charachter select screen to try and change worlds. Probably a Anet issue but no word from them yet.

It seems that the log in server is down. Not the servers, because I have friends on playing just fine with no problem.

I was able to login earlier, but was disconnected several times. Now I’m not able to login at all, even after several attempts over the last 10 minutes.

I was barely able to login to the website too — it took a long time, and I got a network error once.

I managed to log back in to character select, but then unable to actually enter the game. I’m on the west coast, so I don’t think it’s an east coast/west coast thing — I think it’s a login server thing as someone else mentioned.

tip for anet: try resetting your login servers

Got kicked out about 10 minutes ago but my friend on another server is playing fine and happily, it might just be certain servers

It’s working for me now.

The first time I tried, it failed but now I am in. Just restart the client.

I can get into the char selection, but every time I choose a character, it doesn’t load up, error code 42:5:7:878:101.

Login servers must be down – I tried porting from one ‘land’ to another – the game kicked me and I can only get to character screen; i’ve been trying for 10 minutes to get back into the game.

I just got back in. I must say, 15 minutes to identify and fix this issue is awesome.

Actually it went down maybe 9 hours ago, but went back up soon after. It went down again just several minutes ago (at about the time of the first post in this thread), and it might be back up now but I’m still doubting the stability for now.

I am getting (Code=42:5:7:878:101). Please fix it. Thank you!

Seems it is O.K. now. It is first time to have this kind of problem.

Wow! I was finally able to log into the forums to simply reply lol.

Something’s up with the servers because my son had logged out to character select and was booted to the desktop with an error message: 42:4:7:336:101. My daughter was, and still is, in the game playing just fine and she’s sitting right next to me. Still unable to log into the game. I type in my info, click play, and the launcher just sits there staring at me.

So far it’s winning the staring contest. =(

UPDATE: Yay! I’m in.

Can log back in , but have been rolled back a whole level and a Boss type fight :-(
