Guild Wars 2

Basically the title. According to this website http://www.deccanchronicle.com/140605/technology-latest/article/upgrade-windows-81-one-week-deadline , there will be a deadline to upgrade to windows 8.1 and I’m wondering if I should upgrade. Does it help with the performance with the game? Does it decrease the performance? Did you guys upgrade?

This. Unless you have a known reason as to why you shouldn’t update (rare driver or program incompatibility), you should update to 8.1 as soon as possible.

With that in mind, GW2 works fine on 8.1 with no regressions.

Why would you not update is the question? Updating to 8.1 can be done at any time, however, after the deadline you will no longer receive security updates on 8, which means 8 is EOL (end of life) and they will only be supporting 8.1 with security updates.
