Guild Wars 2

Today I was playing WvW, and I just play normally with my GPU 560 Ti on 65c having no problems.

Then I seen we had our siegerazer event on and I went on the catapult site in the blue siege bubble, and I was hearing my GPU making more noise then normal.. I alt_tab and checked the heat and it was up to 90c!!!

90c for the GPU is ok and I know that, but normally It wont go higher then lets say 75c.. I kept on playing to see what would happen and when the blue bubble from the catapult disappeared my GPU went back to normal 65c.

So Anet I think there is something wrong with them! Maybe check them out sometimes.

90c on a gpu is not ok, full load temp should be 85c max, 90c is at the thermal limit, 95c is the thermal throttling and 110c is the thermal shut off point.

clean your system case, make sure you do not have supersampling on, also try turning adaptive vsync on, its awesome

I know all that and about dust etc, its all clean and I have cooler case.. it happened only when I was standing inside that blue bubble, when it disappeared everything went back to normal.

In other games like tombraider or splinter cell I play on 70-75c without any problems.

This only happened when I was standing in that blue bubble lol

turn vsync on, im pretty sure that will fix it.

And ye didn’t check if v-sync was on or not.. but they need to look at it :P
