No official response in the horizon.

Message Body length must at least be 15
Yep same problem here.
Same problem here as well. Can hear sounds in the background as though I’m fully loaded in game, however, still see the loading screen up
Same thing is happening for me.

My EU accounts are the only ones being affected and are stuck at either loading screen or load in but then immediately get stuck.

I am stuck on loading screens and unable to escape out. I tried transferring to a low vol guest server and was able to log into my home server. To make it worse, on the guest server after about 5 minutes the loading screen appears again even though I am not getting an error message.
Having same issue NA trying to log into my EU server (Aurora Glades) Loading screen forever then disconnect
Chosen Alliance CA
Nameless Veterans NV
I am stuck at loading screen aswell. Also it takes too much time to even log in to my account. NA player on EU server…
Update: After being stuck on a loading screen for 15 minutes I got error: 7:11:3:189:101.
Tried relogging and have the same loading screen issue.
I’m also stuck on loading while I was doing fractals and I got hit with a massive lag then disconnected with code= 7:11:3:189:101. I’ve been unable to play for the past 3 hours. Canadian player on Europe Server: Piken Square
I get stuck at the loading and if I get into the game, I get hit with a wall of lag. The game is just unplayable right now.
NA player-EU server
Having same issue trying to log into Riverside (EU) from Brazil. I am forever stuck in loading screen (Queensdale). Some alts in other areas load, but super slow.
Was playable still until a couple of hours ago, though the whole game became laggy after 26/03 patch as described elsewhere many times.
Please fix asap!
I have the same problem. Guild wars 2 was running fine this morning. I went to mow the lawn, came back login is fine, character select menu comes up as normal, but when I click play it stays on the loading screen inevitably .
I’ve tried selecting a different character, restarting my computer and I’m already out of ideas.
I’m fairly sure it’s not a problem on my end as my connection is completely fine, and nothing was changed on my computer. But it’s just now GW2 doesn’t work.
Two of our US guildmates playing on Desolation-EU also started having severe lag issues and eventually couldn’t access the game at all anymore. First they reported that Lion’s Arch seemed perfectly fine, but going to any other zone resulted in them getting stuck in a perpetual loading screen. Finally they also couldn’t enter Lion’s Arch anymore.
It really sucked as we were just on the 3/4 Fractal.

Highly Over Powered Explorers [HOPE] – Desolation EU
Same here, North America connecting to Gandara and cant connect, when it does its stuck on loading screen.
I have finally managed to get back in and the game is still exceptionally laggy (Euro server). Was continually booted from world vs world this morning and eventually got disconnected trying to play P vs E. Suppose the goods news is lots of people are having the same problems. Maybe Arenanet need to reboot the server…
I was thinking the problem was with my connect and PC since I just recently bought the game, but it seems to be game related. Whenever I start to play it freezes up in the loading screen or if ever it gets to load it either has a 30 sec delay lag or get kicked out getting the error 7 thing. Sad hope they fix it I wanna try playing it already
Try accessing the game on port 80. A few other people said this worked for them.
1) Navigate to theGW2 directory normaly located at “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\” or “C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\”
2) R-Click “Gw2.EXE” then select Send To>Desktop (create shortcut)
3) One your Desktop R-Click the “Gw2 – shortcut” and Rename it to “Gw2 – Port 80”
4) R-Click the “Gw2 – Port 80” shortcut and select Properties
5) In the tagert line, all the way to the right after the quotation mark add a space then type the following: -clientport 80
Example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -clientport 80
Example 2: “C:\Program Files\Guild Wars 2\” -clientport 80
6) Click Apply then OK
7) Try running the game

-clientport 80 worked for me, at least ive been playing for couple hours and seems normal. thanks UserX
Tried -clientport 80 but I cannot log-in saying but without the -client I can login with the loading screen problem
still not work here

Glad to here your up and running
@Noxijin
Are you running any Anti-Virus software or a Firewall. Disabling them for troubleshooting. See I you are still having problems after disabling them. Also some Anti-Virus and Firewalls don’t like to disabled so uninstalling them for testing is also a good option.
@peeMon
I have been working with a few people on the load screen issue and found that some people are able to connect using a different account on the same computer or not able to log into the problem account on another computer. This leads me to believe the issue is server side.
If you have already tried the -repair switch or re-downloaded the setup submit a ticket to ANET.

You can then rename it from “Gw2Setup.exe” to “Gw2.exe” and replace your old one.

@UserX Thank you for the advice, I will be trying -repair and see if there is any effect.
UPDATE: I really do believe this is a server side problem since I was able to load the start of the game and defeated the first part of the game (centaurs etc..) with minimal lag but I got stuck again in the loading screen when the area changed.

I just wanna say I love you. I’m not sure if it completely works yet, but at least the launcher is using some CPU now and I can visually see it working. I’m just glad to see some change. I use the very last part that I bolded. My issue was I’d click GW2, it’d pop up with the usual launcher, but then nothing. 0kb/0kb downloading and couldn’t click the X to get out (Had to end process it out). Couldn’t uninstall the client and now I see movement, so I’m happy.
Ok, while seeing movement got me excited, I spoke too soon. I just watched it and while the change helps it download or what not, it closes and pops open again with the exact same problem as before. This would be fine if I could uninstall GW2, but I can’t. Any other ideas?
