Guild Wars 2

Hi, i have an M11x r3 (specs Intel Core i7-2617M @ 1.50Ghz 8GB of ram, and an Nvidia GT 540m Graphics card, with optimus). Whenever i log into the game, WvW and PvE my fps is 20 and under, with weird frame spikes. I have changed my settings from medium to low with same results. I’ve seen videos of people with this same laptop, with a Core i5 running on medium with 30-40 fps. Does anyone know what to do to fix this? (P.S. I can play Borderlands 2 at high settings with 30-35 fps).

The only intel mobile processor that’s good at playing GW2 (In fact, out of ALL the mobile processors) is the Intel Core i7-3920XM.

Borderlands / 2 don’t use the same engine as GW/2.

Well, I just updated my graphics card driver, and now have 25-30 fps on medium. That’s good enough for me. :-)

Yes lot of people whant it but lot of people dont understand that it is not necessary to have it. 25-30 Is always enough to fully enjoy any game (If it has decent optimization)
And between 30 and 60 difference is realy small.
I am speaking from my own experience so all who do not agree ( or understand like i said) save comments about how totaly wrong i am please……:-D

I ordered a monitor a few days back, and it finally showed up! when i plugged it in and started up guild wars 2, to my surprise i had 60 fps!!!!!!! I can’t believe this worked.

No need to put a PS for anouther game it’s not this one your processor will not run this game good your actually under the min specks.

Play some WVW and post a screen shoot of them 60FPS.
