This increased my performance.
You only need a “better” PSU if you were using a crappy one to begin with. I HIGHLY recommend Seasonic or Corsair, Corsair offering units from Seasonic OEM, CWT, and now Flextronics. There are other good units out there obviously, but most people are under the impression “good” means “I need more wattage”, which is 100% false.
For PSUs I highly recommend reading over at JonnyGuru.com. They perform in-depth testing on several power supplies so you can check their quality over there.

Yes, I was using a cheap one but then when I had enough money for upgrading my PC I only replaced my GPU and CPU.
GW2 was working good in the beginning but since a few months the game worked very slow and long loading times, now its great ^^
seems GTX 560 Ti needs lots of juice :P
my pc i just bought has a Evga Supernova Nex650G 80+ Gold, i heard it is very good.
Seasonic and Corsair aint the only good ones

As I said there were other good units out there, but reading NewEgg reviews or so certainly is not a good way to determine if a unit is actually good.
For example, I’m not THAT familiar with the 650 watt, but considering they came out as the same line and are based on the same units, your FSP Aurum based EVGA unit’s 750watt brother has loose voltage regulation on all rails except for the 5V rail, poor crossload, and the 3.3V rail fails in advanced transient response.
As far as other things go though, your unit will deliver full power @ 45C, it has good ripple suppression at +12V, 5V and 5VSB, uses Japanese capacitors and excellent voltage regulation at 5V, then of course the 5Year EVGA warranty(Free upgrade to 10year warranty via EVGA website).
Which overall makes it a decent unit, especially using only Japanese caps. However, with the poor voltage regulation on the 12V and other issues it has, I wouldn’t be looking at it as a quality unit I could recommend, when there are better options available that do not have those issues.
It’s not about someone telling you something is good, it’s about research put into what you want to make sure it’s quality before purchase. That’s why enthusiasts buy their parts seperately and don’t purchase prebuilts.

Don’t mistake what I said specifically about the FSP Aurum unit the other guy has, many brands have good models when it comes to PSU’s, it’s just that there are also bad ones. FSP make some decent units.

Yes, so really guys who are having bad performance with home-made desktops.. it could be you bought a cheap PSU and that it is dying.. just like mine. I guess I found out on time before it destroys the rest of my computer :P
