I am getting “The game client is unable to gain access to the login server at this time” anyone else having this problem, I was in game as was told to log out because of the market bug and now cannot get back in.

Same problem here, i though it was due to my own router but i have had a router reset and everything seems fine with my internet. hope it gets solved soon.

Same, logged to character screen and game crashed out, then got that message

yeah me to – jsut completed a story quest and clicked the exit instance button and it went bloooooop! cant login!!

at least I know the issue is not on my end now

Was in WvW switching zones got disconected and now cant login.

same here. game forced me to log out, and brought up some error right in the place where i was about to click my mouse. then it crashed and won’t allow me to log into :S

Same here thought it was strange seeing as i logged in less than an hour ago……..

Anybody know when we are able to log in? How long does it take to repair login servers?

Same, and i was having such a great time!! I was having problems with the Trading post acting up a couple of times rigth before the login server collapsed, so im guessing thats it.

Update: i found this error code in the bottom left. Does everybody have this? 42:6:3:2060

is it me, or has this started happening when they let the mac users in? lol

its “good” to see I’m not alone, when I discovered this topic. really hope it will be fixed ASAP.

I was actually trying to hop on to play since I’ve got some spare time atm but I keep on getting this error for the past 30ish minutes

On Saturday night Kidding aside depends on what the issue is could be a coupel minutes could be alot longer

I can’t log in either, was using the TP to try and finish off my 4th crafting skill – Desolation server, based in uk

Kinda sucks, my girlfriend just bought gw2 to play together , just finished first story quest and BAM…. gone…. hope it gets fixed soon :/ repeatedly spamming login button was not the plan for tonight! >.<

I wonder if anyone is actually playing right now?

Yeah, it’s not just you. It’s the server

Mine jumps from couldnt contact the server to: The server was unable to authenticate your privileges

It went down just as I hit 80, typical !

Good to hear I am not alone in this. I left a party earlier just so i could play some extra before bed. Not that that is useful information. Come on login server, you can do this!

Getting the same, Did not know what was happening, so changed my password just incase.

But from the looks of it its the servers being down

I can understand that Anet need to fix things, but one thing that would be great is if they could give us a server message or something 30 seconds prior to disconnect

Good to know I’m not the only one with that problem. That whole “OMG haxxorz stealing accounts” paranoia got me thinking the worst when I DC’d at character switch ;-)
