Video Card Crash?
You’re describing exactly what i’m experiencing as well. Same gpu. I as well am at a loss about how to fix this, and i have tried everything except replacing the gpu. I’m starting to think that would be the solution.
There a quite a few threads already started about video crashing since last game update.
One thing i noticed is the gpu starting to run in excess of 75 degrees Celsius. I have changed the cooling in the sense that i took gpu cooling off auto and set up a manual profile, incrementally speeding up the fan. Now it runs at max 65 degrees, and i haven’t had a crash yet. It seems i had to learn pci-e based gpu’s are a bit more sensitive than embedded ones.
*edited for typo.

And I looked through them, but none of them seem much help. I’m going to try to set up a manual profile myself, now that it has been suggested, and will get back to you guys once I’ve done that and play tested it.
What boggles me about this is that it’s only this suddenly became a problem.
*Edit: It still takes about 30 seconds for my video card to decide nope.jpg, and fail on me. It’s possible I’ll be dropping by the store later on this week and updating my graphics card, although doing something like this because of one game is kind of pathetic.
Looking around the forum it seems that you’re right and there’s been a huge increase across the board in video related problems since a certain patch. I suppose we can only hope that they find some way to code it so that middle-of-the-road video cards don’t kitten the bed quite as often.
I’ll be checking periodically.
