Guild Wars 2

So since cpl of days, I’m getting those really weird fps drops in hotm and tpvp. It’s not only when fighting, it’s also when just running around.

With settings on low it stays aswel. The problem can’t be my pc since BF4 and other games are running fluently.

Normally run between 50-80fps..
The drops only stays for 2-3seconds. After a minute, it’s there again.

4.3Ghz CPU and HD78xx 2gb
SSD has still 30GB’s left so its not because it’s full or anything.
GW2 only uses about 30-50% of my CPU max.

It’s only since cpl of days.. Any news about this?
Would re-installin game help?

What else have you installed in the last couple days, sounds like a resource usage situation.

Skype, for ESL admin stuff. Though, only for chat and no video thingy.
But I had skype on pc quite long.. I did downlaod the desktop version, but the problem was already there ebfore I dl’d desktop version.

Windows 8 btw.

Would it help if I re-install the game? Cuz it’s quite annoying, fighting when fps drops to 1-2..

There’s your problem shut down Skype and see if your issues goes away. Skype was never designed for gaming, it sucks, get TeamSpeak3 or Ventrilo if you need in game VoIP.

Skype is always turned off when I play GW2. I onyluse it for ESL Admin meanings, when I don’t rly play the game. And I do use TS3 for tpvp and playing the game

again, they’re aware of the issue, point is they have no idea how to fix it ( since last patch totally broke the game for MANY of us) and are afraid to say it cuz arrogance.

It’s already been almost a month and nothing changed.

If i was more into “seerious e-spathz” and couldn’t train for ToG cuz of their sucky coding i could have pressed charge against aNet.
