Guild Wars 2

So he just got a new video card/power supply and it will be a few more weeks before he is able to FINALLY build a new PC all together as his motherboard won’t let him get any other parts until it is replaced. However he really wants to play this after being a long-time fan of GW and has been quite upset he missed the launch of the game among other events, he’ll be content if he can at least play on low/medium with decent enough fps, avoiding large crowds if need be.

Windows 7 64bit
Pentium® Dual Core Cpu E5300 @ 2.60ghz (Will be replaced when new motherboard is in, unsure of what processor he’ll be getting, unsure of the motherboard too)
Gtx 650 ti
4 gigs DDR 2 ram (Will be replaced with 8gigs DDR 3 when possible)
Seasonic 520w PSU

Hm, his GPU scored pretty high but as I figured the CPU is going to hold him back, but based on the chart he should at least be able to quest and MAYBE do his greatly desired WvW if he avoids the zergs.

Giving this a bump though for the hope of someone more informed to let me know what fps he might be expecting! He’s wanting to know whether to go ahead and buy the game to satisfy his cravings (if the fps is okay) or to save his money all together for his new PC parts.

Questing is playable, WvW won’t be worthwhile the fun is where the zerg is at.

Hm, I guess I’ll go ahead and let him know he can at least quest and SPvP. I think he’ll be content with tromping around the smaller WvW battles to capture side things/defend side things.
