Any explanation? Or how much better would it be? The y510p is not available for another month from xoticpc, the y500 is availble now.

Wait a month for the Y510P if you can afford it. The difference that I can see is the processor being current gen on it where as the less expensive is a dual core from previous generation. the GT 750m is newer and likely performs better.

Get the newer one already not much of a price difference.
