Guild Wars 2

I hope this is the right forum for this, but I’m just wondering what success people have had running GW2 under the Windows 8 release preview.

I’ve been having the typical performance issues that many have, and I would like to see if Windows 8 seems to suffer from the same thing, but I don’t want to try it unless others are actually having success with it.

I tested out Windows 8 RTM and got about the same performance as 7. Got between 45-60fps at a gate zerg when very briefly tested in WvW with the quality preset. So would expect near identical performance on most systems, although I think 8 fairs better for lower end due to smaller footprint and better ram management.

Canned it for my 7 image though as the UI was horrible for productivity imo. System Below:

beware people with a card in the 600 series though, 670, 660, 680 performs very bad in GW2. Like 15-25 fps in these big zergs, WvW.
