Guild Wars 2

I have no idea how to fix this, it seems to fix itself but it is remarkably annoying. Had this three times now.

It’s telling me “The game client is unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time. etc etc etc.”

Can this be fixed already please?

I got the exact same trying to set my home server as a US server (A few Us friends play gw2 and i wish to play with them). I get that error message and the game crashes, then it selected my home server as a random EU server :/

I have the same issue. Just bought the game today, started creating my 1st character, get to the end, enter my char name and then get an error 42: can’t contact login server. I’ve got firewall or AV running and checked all ports are open that are needed to be. Ah well, not the best start.
