I heard other colorblind people have the same issue. I heard that Anet have trouble changing the color themselves since it is deep in the code. I hope a representive can detail the problem

thats crazy, hard coding that kinda effect…..hard coded color of an effect……..crazy……
you may want to look into methods of changing/shifting colors using your video drivers or something like sweetfx may have a way you can tweak the colors……(not sure i know they have digital vibrancy)

While I cannot help with the problem, I did report during beta that there was no colourblind setting in the options. Obviously this was ignored, and no effort is being made to accommodate anyone who wish to play the game with any kind of disability or impairment.

so i take it you work for anet now since you can say with authority that they are not making any effort to supply a fix……good to know.

Not at all, were I working for Anet I would’ve written up a dev blog explaining exactly what the company is doing to support users with disabilities and impairments. I apologize if I gave the impression I was working for them, or had inside knowledge.
