I’ve had no issues prior to today, but now it won’t connect to the log in server for me either. Keep getting the error code 58:11:5:512
Yep same error! 58:11:5:512..at least we know that its a global thing.
we just need to wait.
I’ve had gw2 for about a month with no problems. Played all day yesterday and the day before. I was playing earlier just fine and when I took a break and tried to get back on I cant. Game client wont connect to log-in servers. Very frustrating since they said the issue was already fixed….

Just wondering if there’s a new release that affects the connectivity. Here I have the same issue as the others above. Few minutes ago, I still could log in the game. While I was choosing the character, the error message popped out. So, it began. I’ve been into this issue randomly in the past few months since I started to play Guild Wars 2. Really need some help to resolve this once and for all (hopefully).

Honestly, big huge message in red at the top of the forum when you log on saying servers down for maintenance. The most recent four announcements on the right side of the forum’s main page talking about the servers going down and are now down.
Are you surprised that the lane ends on the highway after the three miles of “Lane ends merge right” signs and flashing arrows?

Honestly, big huge message in red at the top of the forum when you log on saying servers down for maintenance. The most recent four announcements on the right side of the forum’s main page talking about the servers going down and are now down.
Are you surprised that the lane ends on the highway after the three miles of “Lane ends merge right” signs and flashing arrows?
Who has time to waste in reading the short messages posted by staff members all over the place when there’s some complaining to be done?
The question is : Is this happening because the servers are down? or is it the same problem like the one 5 months ago?
Guys…the servers are down. It includes the login server, obviously. No point in letting you log in if servers are down…

ya mine is still down, my thing is this seems alot like an issue we had 5-6 months ago :/ and anet still hasnt fixed many other issues yet, oh well not everyone can be blizzard i guess

That’s funny, I reported server connectivity issues over a week ago including the associated item loss which occurs if you get dropped moments after adding an item to your inventory. Anet told me “too bad, so sad, there aren’t any issues with our service.”
Good to see a mod replied to this thread, and is looking into it, too bad support wasn’t so kindly towards my tickets.

I saw the error messages several times yesterday and it prevented me from talking in guild chats or whispers.
Today I can talk in guild chat, and can send whispers, but now I can’t switch guilds anymore, what gives?

cant join dungeons. and i keep getting that error. ty anet
5 of us tried every trick we can think to enter a dungeon, even guesting lol. nothing works.
Sent a ticket about 2 hours ago. I want answers NOW.
What I hate is that message pops up every time you log in another char or use a waypoint. It’s a wonderful way to kill people in jump puzzles when they’re hitting spacebar to jump but instead of jumping you’re clearing off a stupid, useless message you’ve seen 100 times already, that has taken over your entire game UI. Pure genius trolling.

According my guildmates I ain’t showing online on aswell contact as guildtab.

But once I open guildtab (as first thing once I get online) I get the exact same error;

I’m unable to log in due to this same error. When i had this problem before it was due to the server being down, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now.
I’m getting the same error again but nothing seems to be showing up on their twitter feed nor their facebook about login issues.
Been getting this on Windows. Logged out around 5:30 PM PST just fine. Tried to log in at 10 PM and couldn’t. Interestingly, running GW2 on OS X on the same box works fine.

Yup. been having this same issue for ages…more now than ever…always get told to reset my router, but the problem clearly is not with me.

got the game today. and i am getting the same error. i am not able to open the game.pls fix it as soon as possible.
I have just come back to the game after several months away, downloaded all of the patches, and made sure everything was up to date. And now I’m unable to log in. I’m receiving the same message as above. I’ve submitted a ticket so here’s hoping it gets fixed on their side as I know it’s not on mine.
