I have a gtx 680 2 gb i5 2400 @ 3.1 and 8 gigs of ram and i am getting horrible fps when i maxed it out i have 30 to 10 i put everything on med and any where from 60 fps but constanly drops 40 and below just crazy lag spikes any advice thanks

What’s your CPU?

i5 2400 sandy @ 3.1

Is the GTX680 definitely running at x16? Can be double checked with GPU-Z.

bus interface says PCI- E X 16 @ 16 2.0 i really want to play this game but its unplayable my system can run alot of other games mostly maxed out idk why it can’t even play gw2

Try “shadows” to low & “reflections” to terrain. These settings affect the CPU a lot and attribute to bottlenecking.

You have some kind of underlying issue here. I have an i5 2500k @ 4.3ghz with a gtx 670 4gb and get higher frames then those. Even with nvidis surround 5900×1080 I get higher then that, maybe a driver issue

are talking about video card driver issue ? i have the latest driver should i reinstall it ?

First thing in your case I would try without knowing anything about your computer would be to download a core parking utility. See if you have any parked cores and have it unpark them, that alone may fix your issue. Report back after

Also post a picture of your nvidia control panel settings….if you can
