Hi, I’ve seen there is a launcher option for enabling CUDA acceleration in-game for nVidia cards.
We’ve seen other games use CUDA (or other forms of GPU computing – ID Soft’s Rage uses CUDA for texture transcoding, several other games use DirectCompute) for increasing performance.
What benefit does GW2 get (if any?) from enabling the “-cuda” option in the laucher? Has someone tested it more in-depth?

Thanks!

I’m curious about this as well.

It seems it does nothing.
For me, even -perf is not doing anything

I just tried the -cuda and -perf command lines and neither one seems to be working.

they tell you it probably wont work.

Anyone knows of a good GPU resource monitor that also shows CUDA thread count and usage?
