Guild Wars 2

I know this may sound silly to anyone with good computer knowledge but i just bought the game today and its patching as in writing this, really looking forward to. Playing it but will i be able to run it at low/medium at around 20-30 fps on this setup? I don’t need amazing graphics , just aslong as it looks as good as the old one, in not bothered about crysis type effects ( i ran that at 10fps lol :/)

3.75 gb usable RAM

ATI HD RADEON 3200 (256Mb)

windows 7 64 bit

^^^^^^^^ This I would say 10/15 FPS with everything you can turned off if that. In populated areas it will not even be playable if it will play at all.

no chance in kitten that will run gw2 “smooth” hell, my system and intel rigs costing 3-5x what mine cost cant run the game “smooth”…….

SolarNova’s systems is better then mine gaming wise, and his cant guarntee zero dips below 30fps……

you MAY be able to play Tera tho(its gone free) as its engine and settings scale far better with hardware…the game will look like something from the 90’s but hey…..it may run

Well tbh my rig can guarantee 30+ all the time (iv never seen it drop below 30 even in massive WvW battles) , BUT thats still not good for what my rig is tbh. You would ‘expect’ 60+ all the time but …not so.

But yea ur point still stands lol

I very rarely see dips below 30, but it does happen, dosnt stay there but, it does happen and, it bothers me, since i can run every other game I toss at any of my systems without such problems…..

any of the games I have from GoG or GamersGate or GreenMan Gaming…….

it really is sad that anet couldnt make this game run decent on modern systems, not to mention the systems running XP that they gimped the game to support.
