Personally with the 2v1 and BG’s dependence on night capping I hope JQ wins the week but I expect they will get 2nd at least.

You all can deny all of the claims of cooperation you want, but you’re not fooling anyone. It just delights me to know that the rest of our league will be spent trolling BG for it. BG if you can barely hold off SoR with another T1 server teaming up with you (I am mean like knocking down walls for each other, camping waypoints while other caps)

Say next week. Who is gonna be there for you. Have fun now because in a little over 24 hours you wont have a second Q’d zerg on each map holding your jock.

Basically what happened is the 1st 36 hours or so the there doubleteams, but every was equally getting it (basically you were doubleteamed on your homemap and who had SM on EBG was doubleteamed) SoR jumped out to a 10k lead on JQ and 4k lead on by early sunday, at that pace it was going to be a smooth win. You started doubleteaming Sunday through Wed but it was not as blatant and was constant. Then when you saw that even with that SoR still had a 3k lead on BG and 11k on JQ you got in bed together. Its cute, and like I said enjoy it for the next 24 hour or so.

Guys, lets keep it civil on the 2v1 subject, it happens all the time and its the best way to get rid of waypoints. Whether or not its on BGs best interest is their own problem and if they think they have a chance let them take it, no risk no reward.

I spent most of my time defending SOR garri the first few days at one point owning nothing on our home map. That was a hardcore 2v1 but if JQ and BG met they would fight not the kitten fighting we are seeing now.

It’s not, and SOR did. That said, there were many of us who objected to it, rebelled against it, and eventually broke that apart. I for one will speak up, and against any cooperative effort with any server on any BG. I feel SOR is above that. We don’t have much right to complain if we’re endorsing the enemies tactics, you know?

I don’t mind 1vs2. Fights are better and it shows me how much respect you have for my server when you need to do it. Thanks and keep it up.

Its all about thinking in the long run here, since its a SEASON. Very beginning of the week JQ got focused hard because BG and SoR both knew that a JQ win this week would be disastrous for both of them. Mid week the 2v1s subsided a bit because JQ was a solid 10k behind while SoR and BG were super close. This last day BG’s focus shifted strongly to SoR because we wanted to try to secure our 1st place finish. JQ’s focus also shifted to SoR because (I would imagine), JQ views SoR as their biggest threat to the season title, and by forcing SoR to only get 1 point at the end of this week is highly advantageous, IN THE LONG RUN.

Its map tactics to a whole new level, just deal with it. Each server is acting in its best interest, it happens.

Come on SoR, pick it up! JQ nearly caught up to you. I want to see JQue in 3rd.

One of these days, people will figure out that the server that most often eats a 2v1 is the one who is considered to be the biggest threat, and go “oh hey, I should feel some pride about that”. Instead, the first instinct is to run to the forums to cry, make threats and shake your fist (players from BG have done this in the past as well).

It’s not that hard to figure this stuff out guys. JQ could have easily shifted focus to BG last night if they thought we would have the upper hand in matches 2-6. Clearly they don’t. I’m hoping to prove them wrong.

Edit – By the way, I expect there to be some serious fireworks tonight and on through to reset. I believe that this will end up going down as the most intense WvW match in the history of the game. Too bad it was tarnished a bit by skill lag.

We are just trying to survive on JQ. Weve all been on either side of defeat and victory from each other. I think the mistake some guild leaders on all three servers are making are assuming the end result of this week’s match will determine the league’s champion.
That just isnt fair to the other servers nor true. Seven weeks is a long time. As we all know servers can change a lot in a month.

Agreed. This is one of the closest matchups (if not THE closest) I’ve ever seen on t1 and I think besides the queues and skill lag, it has been incredibly fun. When we rematch later in seasons, we’ll see how it turns up but I’m guessing it’ll be just as competitive as this week!

Well, how I see it is that since mid-week, SOR NA tried to push BG so they could get
1st place. TW-FEAR-CHOO came to eb each day and pushed BG with JQ to gain points
from BG. Other timezone, like SEA and EU, BG and SOR did push more JQ than themselves. So tell your NA warlords play better map politics next time.

You should expected to be doubleteamed on your home bl most of the time, it is the way the map is set up. Its when you look at ALL BLs and there is a systematic doubleteam that is when people get annoyed.

And I think most of BG players and SOR’s SEA/EU players know both servers need to get
JQ 3rd place this week. I know few CMDers from SOR SEA time and they know this. Only people dont know this is SOR NA CMDers.

Ok so BG is solidly in the lead, now would be a good time to just for JQ. If JQ comes in 2nd it pretty much solidifies 1st place for the season.
