I have screen shots of Ebay and Yaks fighting side by side attacking BP one of which is posted above… Yes it is small groups doing so but they just run away after BP is downed and don’t touch each other also had a instance that screen shot does no justice where EB camped 10-15 outside of an open gate at Bay that Yaks controlled in BP BL trying to stop BP from running back in once downed. They would stay until Yaks rebuild gate then go else where. My only question is not if they are working together but is servers working together what Annett wants and if not will anything be done to stop it. IMO this is not what was intended to determine the outcome of 2nd and 4th place in the seasons at the beginning..

I actually said that something of that sort might have happened late in the week, after YB had locked in 1st, when it was lulzier and smarter strategically (wrt season score) to suppress SBI than to run up our own score..

It definitively did not happen early in the week, despite SBI’s insistence that YB & EB had organized a 2v1 on Saturday .

I deleted my post because I realized I was feeding an SBI troll, who is still sore about last week’s beating. SBI really should focus on holding off FA this week. From the looks of the maps, you need all hands on deck right now.

We can normally always find SOMETHING to do as a duo, but in E Bay earlier today, the wife and I couldn’t find a single camp or tower that did not have at least 2 people guarding. Even your yak escorts outnumbered us half the time! Good job on defense, E Bay!

Something else I wanted to mention, we DO NOT want you guys to roll over and die. Who do you guys think we are? we are YAKS! we want good fights. we want you to fight till the very end.
Noone likes to spend a week in a conquered borderland babysitting keeps and towers against ghost armies. Stop reading these forums and instead go into your respective forums and pump your fellow BP’ers and EB’ers up . Show us you’re not all talk and give us some memorable fights. Make us worry.

We just happened to show up and walk through the holes in the wall before SBI could repair them. It’s no one’s fault, really. We weren’t aware of any alliance that day. We certainly didn’t mean to upset SBI to such a degree. I assume that YB thought that SBI would just retake the stuff, so YB moved on to the next structure to knock down.

So, really, there you have it. People should be congratulating Ebay for pulling one over on two larger servers. But nope, we have to be insulted and mocked, just because of some petty jealousy. It’s really quite sad.

And, really, with the way BP is acting, it doesn’t really make us look like the ugly girlfriend. It makes us look like the head cheerleader. The bride, to BP’s bridesmaid.

Sadly, I took a leave and left because the guild transfered from Darkhavento Kaineng. And then I realized that Darkhaven was indeed dwindling down. So I decided to switch to Borlis Pass because my gw1 friend was there. After he quit gw2, I joined WFD.

This is a very boring week…gonna be eBay vs yaks I bet.

Considering you guys are currently holding our Hills, and have taken most of south and north numerous times in the last hour and a half, I wouldn’t sell yourselves short.

Good games so far guys! I’ve been on our map hopping channel all day reinforcing wherever we’re needed. Today, we had 2 big omega golem rushes from yaks bend that we successfully stopped. One from our bay where they brought probably 60+and another to our eternal keep with 40+.

My guys stayed at eternal bg for the most part of the day and finally took stonemist castle. You were holding that SM like bosses yaks. It took us hours and hours of sieging to take it!

bp, you did it wrong during the night capping, you let them get a waypoint on your bl until the morning..2 of them too! Goodluck removing those.

Anyways, cheers to all the good fights today. I commanded 15 hours so im spent. Goodnight all!

As I see it, SBI initiated the dirty-play last week (link) and some YB players responded in kind.

That escalation was regrettable and avoidable. One of our people tried to talk & de-escalate it (link). I do not condemn the purported YB people who retaliated. I would also note that our thread-visitor from SBI never condemned his server-mates who initiated the griefing.

If our people are initiating this behavior, please let us know asap. I’m confident that YB’s WvW regulars do not support first-use of such tactics.

There’s no alliance from what I know. They might have gone after you guys if you dared to mass attack them on their borderlands…we got hit hard by them at reset because we did that. Hell, last night the map was mostly red until we started pushing back out and went for full defense.

We know there’s a alliance…stop denying it. Bp has 0 night crew so we are a easy target but eBay has not been touched. That was reset night, it’s all game then.

This also might be due to the fact that Ebay fields a lot more during weekends and BP during weekdays. There’s no alliance. YB has been out in full force in EBBL. We had almost the entire map red. Ebay has more weekend players so it made sense for them to hold out better than BP does.

So your saying yaks want a easy fight? But this you should be focusing on eBay all day during weekdays. Am I correct or yaks don’t wanna break the treaty with their gf?

While on the subject of forum warriors, don’t forget how vile some of yours were back during the EB/BP/AR days.

I think a lot of what we’re experiencing here is unintentional, too. A lot of people have asked me about whether we have an alliance with Yaks, and I always tell them to take out BP first if you can (not necessarily because we’re aligned with Yaks, but because BP with fewer points means Ebay has a better chance at second place). I think maybe some people aren’t focusing Yaks because they genuinely don’t know whether we’re aligned with them or not.

Aside from that, last week a number of us actually made friends with some Yaks folks. Doesn’t mean we’re not going to kill them, but there are lots of /waves going around between guilds that recognize each other. Today I helped a YB take a BP camp without being asked or thanked, then just walked away unmolested because that’s just the understanding we had. On that same note, a YB tried to kill me and some guildies, so we wafflestomped them to teach them better, then went back to only killing the ones that needed killing. There’s also the added bonus that some people were trolling our forums recently that we’re pretty sure are on BP, as well as some old friends we like to beat up and some old enemies that we’re nostalgic for.

Another factor that seems to be ignored is that BP is going to get 4th no matter what they do, so some of them may have taken a break. If it were me, I wouldn’t take the week too seriously in the first place, but knowing that Anet’s flawed system is flawed would make we care a lot less about PPT because win or lose, you’re getting the same rewards. It’s a throwaway week for BP, so some of you may not be trying as hard as you did in previous weeks (not meant in a derogatory way, it’s just the way things work. If you can predict the outcome, why bother trying to change anything?).

EDIT: also, can we all get it (regrettably) straight? A double team and an alliance are entirely different. If you are, by chance, being double teamed, that’s one thing. An alliance is different. A lot of the ‘proof’ here that I see is proof that you’re being double teamed, not that YB and Ebay are aligned. If BP’s keeps and towers are paper, they attract more people than anything that’s fortified. It’s just the way things work. It’s far too much effort to take anything that’s reinforced.

Get out and fight for fun, when you stop worrying about ppt, fights get a lot more better. You dont have to constantly look at the map or worry about wheres going to get attacked next, all you have to do if just focus on rolfstomping the reds in front of you. Try it, honestly, you will love it.
