Gandara border the blob has begun, seriously blobaddon you make vizunah look like amateurs.

Blobbing is WvW Meta, its been that from the start. I rather complain about the long Queue while my rank is high, and some newbie lvl 1 PVE player beats me In the queue.

Like i said in previous matchup, i will blob, i will zerg and i will beat you :P Will be nice to see how Gandara do without the free points they gained from UW last week.

Looking forward to bumping into DYE, good fights i hope. To AM, learn to fight once in awhile, seeing a 40 man guild group WP is just lol. Grow some balls!

Free points we had from UW? Funny to hear this from a server with über nightcap team and had +600 ppt almost every night for few hours.
If every bl has a blob like we see now from both AM and Deso, they can go back to Gold League imo.

Never once complained about blobs on forums, love fighting them. It’s the meta, accept it and adapt. If you want to contend Silver league but aren’t willing to make the changes needed then that’s their fault.

my main is nec which i have many of builds for. (i also have an engi as well as a mesmer, both i play way to seldomly.)

Really hate playing ele in lag (attunement swapping is annoying in lag).

I had fun on the Gandara Borderland even with the blobs.
So many time we run into a camp or someplace and think we face equal number only to see not all of them rendered yet haha.

The skilllag got better later in the night.

Nice reset. Diva event ended early so some of us joined CNTK’s raid. We had one of the best farms ever at Bay. We just stood at the portals on the inside, and the bags just kept on trickling through.

Very blobby tho. Noticed that many of Gandara guild groups had to work together to match the numbers. Haven’t seen a single medium or small sized guild from Deso/AM yet. Maybe later this week when all the excitement dwindles down a bit.

Yea. He’s mr brightside of desolation. Really funny and full of bullkitten. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he was a Vizunah scout!

Personally i think the battle between places 1-3 will be decided in this matchup and the last one. It could end up in tie if the worst were to happen. Seems like deso night/morning crew is on the run. Shout out to Rubio n Rox. Awesome job and keep it up guys. We need more people like you.

I was queued for nearly 2 hours, then when i got on i was forced to tag up in deso bl.

North towers were mostly wooden and no seige, we had no supply and we were being hit by both AM and Gandara.

Finally managed to reset hills later on, GG to everyone who followed me it was hard work considering our poor start due to lack of seige, supply, scouts & sniper groups.

Its not all about the coverage as everyone likes to say, but it does help and makes things easier.

I hope that we spend the rest of the week focusing more on improving our ability to set-up our defenses and maintain them…..just remember not everyone in WvW is a veteran know it all….so cut some slack on the pve…er’s. Welcome them, get them into teamspeak, get organized and succeed through teamwork. (less flaming……you/we can only control so much)

Common knowledge is we lack guilds on desolation and are currently mainly fighting with pugs and achievement point hunters…i’m sure this is a similar situation on other servers though, so please try to refrain from using this as an excuse.

I look forward to commanding more over the weekend and the support i have received from all the people in desolation is very nice.

As you can see we [INVI] like to GvG occasionally, however due to the leagues we will not be participating in these as much as we would like.

A mix of horror and amusement on deso side atm. Soooo many pve’ers who are in it for the achievements, filling up queues, running full berserker, no clue what a tag is for, what ts would be useful for, dieing from wolves and moas and buffed lords… I hope you really appreciate how the deso pve server is feeding you lootbags, abbadon and gandara! May they get their achievement points swiftly so we can get back to business soon, and may some of them actually enjoy wvw (despite the current chaos) and find their way to wvw guilds…

I got used to all the Gandara QQ and kittening. You should get used to us as well.

Deso zombies have awoken, the desopocolypse is upon you, flee now or have lootbags rained down on you haha. Pretty insane numbers right now.

Golems prices on the TP are ridiculous though.

do you just read exact the things you WANT to read?
i never said that blobbing and skilllags are our stragedy
(and if you believe it or not, the skilllags are on the whole map so EVERY server has it and we don’t want them either)
what i said is that abaddon is an event server and during our events we usually produce blobs with them (and we know that … and you guys too ^^)
the skilllags are really bad since friday
but i think it’s because every single slot in wvw is taken … on each of the 3 servers
because of the start of the league AND because of the achievements
here on abaddon are a lot of players waiting in queue over an hour at midnight (they chat in lionsarch a lot)
that’s definitively not usual

Was a very hard and long evening on Deso border.

Shoutout to AvA (hope I got the tag right), the only Abaddon guild running outside of the blob, hope to face you guys with (somewhat) even numbers in the coming days!

I kinda got frustrated by the lag myself, Abaddon’s lack of organization on their own Borderlands led to them running away was pretty sad to see.
I like fighting Gandara though, it’s not our fault we have to end up blobbing in the end, the only way you can counter each’s others blob is to blob anyway, which we all seem to end up doing to counter each other, I’d be interested in trying to split groups up and try out some different tactics though.

Deso Borderlands was a mess though when I tagged up, we had queues yet Bay and Hills had waypoints which weren’t even ours.
I’ve heard of more players inside the JP, than fighting for their wvw community.
