Ok I have never accused anyone of hacking, but could someone from SE guild explain the zoom hack that allowed you to take out 3 AC’s and 1 ballista with an AC that was well behind the gate at NSP hills just now, thank you.

edit: if it is not a hack then please do tell how you are able to do that, I would love to return the favor some day, so much coin wasted on siege in that attack.

I would like to clear some things up with the NSP people. It was not 3 pugs trying to flip our map, It was a 30+ Zerg with Omega golems on our map trying to flip garrison, Which we almost lost. NSP is the backstabber here, Not IoJ.

Nobody said 3 pugs, it was 3 guys (all the same guild) and a pug.

Actually it might have been 2 guys last night. Usually there is 3 of em but I wasn’t really paying attention on the zerg at that time.

NSP face it is a pug server. We have great guilds and great commanders, but even our best guilds sport 4 people at best making up the numbers of our zerg, the rest are random casuals and some unaffiliated die-hards.

It’s actually kind of amusing how much trouble a pug server is giving you guys. You have some BIG guilds.

Really? Cause i saw at least 15 [Os] Storming Bay and Garri yesterday with those “Pugs”. Regardless if you’re a pug or not, Being a guild group having SOMEONE tell you what to do makes you better then the average pugs.

Os guild wasn’t online at that time afaik, at least not in those numbers. I call bs. if 15 Os guys were online at the same time that would’ve been akin to seeing a bigfoot in terms of rarity.

Yeah… about that… If WvW came down to pure skill, IoJ would be in tier 9 EU while NSP would be top 3. Every big server we’ve been up against, we keep wiping you. Over and over again. With fewer numbers.

Yeah, eventually you might get our keep or tower, but how does it feel, being 50 taking it from 10 people defending it? (If you’re even able to cap).

If we have close to equal numbers, you guys can’t do jack.

I don’t recall ever being particularly impressed by any players or groups with an [AS] tag. I guess I must have never seen you, because you guys sure sound impressive.

Im not just talking about AS. But yes, we are good. If you haven’t seen us, you just haven’t seen us when we are running structured. We tend to run outside the massive blobs.

But we really don’t care if people notice us or not. Makes it easier for us to get stuff done

NSP by far has the worst roamers I have EVER seen, atleast completely inferior in every aspect to the average IoJ roamer.

I kinda laugh at any notion that NSP is terrible in open field combat. We kinda are known for highly skilled players, and completely dominate in the open for the most part.

That said, DH, seriously, you’re a great server. IoJ, you got a bunch of awesome people on the field. You’re forum warriors though….might be as bad as our NSP forum warriors….

If you place the AC near the gate, you can aim with the space on top of the gate which will allow you to hit behind the gate. That was me using the AC @ hills last night and I have T4 AC upgrade, thus able to take out the treb.

Well good fight’s this week DH/NSP, it would seem that our server has gotten a bit of confidence since winning our matchup a few weeks ago(one we should have absolutely won, we did nothing special), and sad to say but the confidence is not well deserved at this point. I’ve stayed away from the thread mostly this week (minus the 10 man DH team chasing me thru lake for almost 10 minutes, but that was just pure fun lol) and ive seen us talk a whole bunch, but as a whole we have’nt backed it up in the least. Hopefully this week we get rofl stomped and it brings the majority of our server back to reality. Good fight’s and maybe we will see each other again (DH we know we will, dunno what we did in past live’s but were trapped togeather apparently lol). Hat’s off to everyone and good fights from the [HARD] guild and me!

Being a former commander at NSP, they’ve been through thick and thin and after 5 (i think) weeks of vsing DH, you finally came out on top. Keep on going i wanna see you’s in the future

well the week is just about over and IoJ came in third, not much I can say about that other then things did not quite go as planned this week Anyways DH you guys are fun to fight as always and NSP although this was my first time facing you guys I had a blast! Speaking of, I have seen a lot of numbers and good orgainization out of Abys and SE guilds, But HARD gave my little 5 man group a good fight last night. Good use of CC’s targeting, and perfect timing at the NSP southernmost camp last night. Even had we not been finishing up a a small IOJ group at the time you guys got there, we would still have lost that fight. Was a lot of fun and will push me to make myself stronger as well as my guild.

Thanks Gavin. Dh can be pretty kitten sneaky. And both Dh and Ioj have the numbers/coverage on us. I know NSP can field some numbers out there too but the overall wvw participation throughout the entire week just isn’t the same. This was a fun week and nice coming in first but NSP is a tough server and I’m proud of how well we consistently fight with or without any type of alliance/truce.

I gotta say i wanted to rub its in your face more than anything but it does take a stand-up guy to publicly apologise like that and whisper me ingame with the same. Props for that.

I really had fun this matchup, and stressed out alot also, put in inhuman hours while still doing my job.

<3 Every single NSP player, we have been losing for the last several months, we lost many guilds and people, but we stood strong and determined that one day, somehow it will all turn out. Today is that day NSP! Rejoyce!

Overall, Im not surprised with the outcome of the match at all. Though, I expected DH to do worse than we actually did, so pretty happy with it overall!

As far as getting in another match with one of the servers, theyll just make an alliance again! Regardless, I hope some of our less experienced commanders use this as an opportunity to learn. We have some great commanders, but some rely too much on numbers. In a match like this, we cant do that, so I am hoping we see some innovation in the upcoming weeks.

edit: I cant say I minded RARELY having a queue though. EB is usually the only place we will get one anyway, but I cant say I didnt enjoy being able to get right in 75% of the time, or even just a 30 sec wait when there was a queue. It was to an “ugly” map, lol, but it has its perks!

Had a blast this week. A ton of great fights with you DH. In fact just wanted to say nice fight to the few outside of our lake tower, a thief, ele, and engi I believe. It was a nice fight till that dang warr stomp. Still had fun tho! Hope we see you again someday!

That’s exactly why there was all this hubbub of an “alliance” in the first place. If you want us to come out and say NSP never “agreed” to anything then fine, NSP never agreed to anything and just focused on DH until moday. edit IoJ got what we wanted out of it which was a much closer, exciting matchup. Like mentioned ^^above, GG and grats on the win.

I never said I had an issue with the whole deal, its been pretty clear for the entire match what is happening!

I enjoyed the closer match. There was definitely an alliance though, just read the thread.

I’m just saying that the vast majority of NSP either had no clue that this “alliance” was even going on, or they didn’t accept the “alliance” at all. We just focused DH. That’s it. Chances are, the same thing will happen tonight if we get put with a big server. We’re going to focus the bigger server, because they’re the bigger threat. When the other smaller server begins to become stronger, we’ll go for them. That’s normal.

IOJ had a great deal to do with the NSP win this week. I know most of the commanders that are friends with Bird did agree to leave IOJ alone. In fact I didn’t set foot in their BL or their side of EB all week. I did get some fun fight with them on DH BL though! Despite what some may think and say IOJ had much more to do with the NSP win that most will understand or admit. It also allowed NSP to gain far more points for ranking up simply because we didn’t have to deal with IOJ hardly at all for 3 days. By hitting the highest ranked server we were able to gain more points than we did last week getting the gap with IOJ 10 points closer (so far).

I wish I could have been in these forums more this week, but I did get into WvW as much as I could and had a blast (bomb engie pun!).

I have been in match-ups against DH before and they are always stand up, very skilled and very organized WvW’ers. I always get an “aahh crap” feeling when I see [abyss] followed right behind with a deep desire to test myself against them, though I’m usually solo and it ends badly lol.

This was the first match-up I remember being in with IoJ (the first couple months after release I was PvEing and running around blindly in WvW). You guys presented yourselves very well and I had many awesome 1v1-3s with some of your skilled players. I also seem to always end up with IoJ players in gw2lfg.com dungeon groups, not sure if these guys also WvW, but I have always had great dealings with your server.

It’s such a good time with servers like DH, IoJ and GoM and sooo polar opposites compared to the SFs and HoDs of the game…

Thanks for a great match-up DH and IoJ and good luck next week (unless you are matched with us again, of course).

I’m more than willing to admit that the alliance the first half of the week helped. It brought us in some fair weather players (sometimes a really bad thing) and got us a nice juicy lead in points. That said I made it a point to hit IoJ in EB because of the trash talk last week. After the alliance fell apart I can honestly say that I rarely saw any red names other than DH. Good fights from both enemy servers. /salute

I was thinking AR over BP. Either way, NSP will see if any of the fair weather players will have the heart to try and stick it out with either of those servers.
