Out manned, out gunned and we still loved the fighting! It was no repair, so no consequence, so Leeroy up and dive in.

That AR keep fight in Eternal, epic all the way around. Awesome fun to all three servers thank you(I really needed a mindless 3 way fight). Oh and yes, we just DPSed the door down, not my fault though, they seemed to want to do it that way.

I was there in AR when you guys were there very fun fights you guys are clearly very organized hope to see you around again before this match is over when we can pull similar numbers not saying we were outmanned but I only saw your tags in that whole group. Also saw some AR using veils kinda made me laugh a little.

To the 3-man team on the Sentry point east of the HoD this evening, good fight. I have never taken on a Guard, Thief and uh, whatever that 3rd guy was at the same time.

Whenever you want a rematch, whisper me in game, we can take it behind the windmill.

Whoever lead the [VLK] portal bomb against us at the southeast camp in HoD bl, you interrupted what was supposed to be our portal bomb. Idk how the hell we recovered from your portal bomb. It was just a HUGE plus that we got some of your golems.

Had a lot of good fights all around tonight. Its a real bummer AR and HoD can’t match numbers, it would be significantly more fun if you guys could.

We were trying to do something useful with those golems for like an hour straight and we kept having to waypoint back to hills because of DH zergs. At least they were useful for giving someone WXP. :P

No idea what people in this thread are getting on about. Been having a great time considering current events on AR. Hats off to both opposing servers, if anything I had fun in WvW for the first time in a long time.

You do know there is a 30 second window before the white swords pop up on the keep right? With 3-4 rams on a paper gate, or golems, it tends to melt pretty dang fast. You say “no siege,” but were you there? There could have been 10 friggin golems on the gate, that waypointed back before you showed up. Add mesmers with Time Warp and portals, things tend to get done really fast. Seriously, use some common sense.

quite familiar w/ the mechanics of the game, thanks. we were standing directly beside it in between bravost and front steps and yes, i checked gates after the flip to see where they took it and amazingly enough they where nowhere to be found.

& we played ioj 3 weeks ago. them and sbi were one of the most enjoyable match-ups i can remember.

Yeah I agree try and learn new things like I already said we were questioned about using veil and mass invs in fights and last night I watched a AR group of about 20 try and use this tactic props for you guy trying something new and trying to grow.

GT and PAXA come to mind as the groups that are coordinated and are “good fights”; everyone else we’ve flattened outright, so I’m hoping to see some new faces at the fight night in an hour and some minutes.

However, [Abys], I am disappoint. I was led to believe you had roamers, and looking forward to it, but having watched you zerg it up with 20+ people at the waypoint (at what, 3 am last night, before the patch?) and refuse to bring out 4 to fight 4, while you were standing in a line actin’ like turds, I am going to call shenanigans on this statement.

PS. Don’t hide behind the statement “asking my commander what we’re doing” if we’re being nice and asking you if you want to 4v4 while you’re standing there doing nothing. Just roll out 4 people and fight 4 on 4, unless of course, you suck, in which case I guess go on with your bad self.

10 of you and 20 of them right in front of your spawn. Why didn’t you just go and kill them all? What, can’t handle 1:2 odds? If you’ve “flattened everyone outright”, you should have had no problem taking out those guys. Unless of course your words are more potent than your ability in-game.

Right, because the zerg is our roaming group. That’s logical.

Don’t get mad, just don’t pretend to have/be roamers when all you’ve done this week is zerg.

Abys has both a Roaming group and a Zerg ball, unfortunately our Zerg ball come out to play more then our roaming team, not to mention it’s hard for a small group of Abys to roam considering any pugs we walk by generally tend to be attracted by the Abys tag and begin to follow us, so we tend to end up with unintentional zerg balls.

I spend a majority of my time roaming in our borderlands (ARBL). I’ve encountered a lot of zergs, but I’ve also been in some amazing 1v1 fights. I can’t count the number of times this match up where I wished I could say “good fight” to the other side.

I’m also really impressed by the organization [Abys] has shown when it comes to guarding supply lines and towers/keeps. It makes solo roaming significantly harder, but the game much more enjoyable.

There were 5 of us there fighting against other groups. Sorry that we didn’t grant him a 1v1 when we have a full guild group out there specifically to fight against other groups. 4 of us didn’t want to stand around and watch one of our guys duel someone when there were groups out there wanting to fight. We all wanted to play, not sit around and watch one guy play.

He could have just waited until we were done with what we were doing instead of jumping in our fight. That’s fine if he wants to jump in, we’re just going to smoke him like we did if he does.

Thanks much for the 5v5s from [TFH] and [vT], and to all the good folks who dueled me! I got to try new things and meet new people, all without the stress of siege assaults. (don’t get me wrong, I love wvw tactics, but it’s nice to get some small-scale mayhem just for the sake of fighting every now and then)

Had some fun tonight at the fight club, I’m always working late so I’m glad I got to attend this one.

The sylvari ele from VLK with the wings, you’re good.
