Our Sea/Oceanic has benefited greatly from fighting ATM/FOO for months. They are now experts at cross border communication and attacking with float groups. I’ve seen this first hand during weekends fighting along side MERC.

Instead of complaining about ‘map queues on all 4 maps’, which is not even true, why not try and adapt.

You had the perfect opportunity last week during your week long ‘training’ or whatever that was..

Two maps at the most are queued during SEA, so yes we need to float to defend big objectives. And I run with the float team. In BG. I probably know what our situation is like.

Fair weather not showing up? Being in the lead going into oceanic hours doesn’t drive fair weathers away. If anything, any we had would be more likely to play.

No excuses. BG just overstacked their SEA time so they can gain 10K in points, which means BG will win every week. They have become Vizunahgate or HOD 3.0.

So no excuses are needed to be made since that is the way it is and to play to just have fun.

It amazes me that BG can put on 12k points between 2am and 10am PDT, and still come on these forums to complain about SoR.

When you guys get tired of winning by PvD through-out Sea, how about you ask one or two of your guilds from that time zone to transfer off “for the fights”. Seems like a nightly karma train across all border lands would be boring after a week or two.

It is the same propaganda from the same people for months. What amazes me isn’t that it is being done, it is that they still think people believe them.

The logic lacking there is when it repeatedly happens in the same time slot for a period of time. Then it is not chance or circumstance, but strictly a population issue. It is what it is, no need to try to make it into something it is not.

We have been playing this game for months and should be well aware of how coverage effects the score by the end of the week. A NA server has little control over what goes one during non-NA hours when the bulk of their potential player base is at work/school/whatever.

It’s not like this is a ground breaking discovery by this point…..

It’s usually triggered by a large shift in momentum and often times a leader change. As you probably know, BG and SoR have been at each other for about 7 months, literally. 29 weeks of the last 37 weeks BG and SoR have fought each other. That’s 2 months worth of matches out of 9 total months where we weren’t going at it. Needless to say, enough has happened and enough words have been exchanged over those 29 matches that niceties rarely last long in any match thread, especially since JQ’s numbers fell off a bit and BG and SoR started duking it out for 1st place. It’s basically back to how things were in T2, which I’m sure many of you Toasters remember.

Anyhoo, I’d imagine it’s somewhat similar to TC’s long standing rivalry with FA. I wish things were different sometimes, but it is what it is, and in the end it may be a good thing. The rivalry and competition is probably a strong motivator for many players on all sides.

There’s a pattern here. When behind, BG whines. When ahead, they gloat and whine.

Seriously, any server, not just SoR, is going to try to address their weakness. Imagine the whines from Bg, if SoR got several transfers tomorrow, to shore up their SEA, and prevent BG from running away with the PPT during those hours (and the first thing that will be brought up is IRON and the EU presence in that time period).

Like SoR (or any server for that matter) is going to simply hand over wins because BG thinks it’s unfair that another server got more people. BG is trying to hold an entire server accountable for something a small group (or one person) said about passing transfers on to other servers. I do imagine that will happen, when things are more balanced, but until then, stop trying to hold other servers up to whatever expectations BG has.

Every server does it. SoR is no better in that respect. However, it’s usually the same handful of people on the forums that spew it. That’s probably why BG and SoR has such enmity.

Edit: It just seems that BG has more of those people that have such hate for the other server. Maybe I’m wrong about that, but it does seem like BG has more of the hateful posters, and SoR has more trolls.

Not yet anyway!!! Muahaha.

Looking at the timeline over the course of a week, BG gets big ppt during a time that for NA players is the wee hours of morning and during the workday. So all the chest-thumping and trash talk about “dominating”, while the bulk of SoR’s players are either sleeping or at work is nothing but pure class on BG’s part. Oops, I forgot the /sarc tag.

As long as SoR remains mainly a NA server, getting people to play during SEA primetime is going to be tough and many thanks go out to those that do.

In the past 1.5 hours this thread went to kitten. We all need to tone it down a notch and look forward to the dolyak parade this Thursday.

Kids, behave…. And yes asking the bulk of posters on these forums to behave is like asking an 8 year old to not touch the cookie jar.

Last week’s was most likely decided in meeting as I saw it on TS message on Sunday. Never joined the server meeting as it’s really early morning where I am when its on.
