We almost transfered to SBI instead of IOJ because i have friends there so I wish you guys luck in the gold league when you get there.

It’s not too late. We are actually looking for guilds of your size to help control Bloodlust.

ps. It was revealed that SoR has a similar pop to FA.

SOR wvw pop and FA wvw pop are not even close. NA prime they probably are. FA has a 3-4 hour queue on all BL’s on reset. Usually 30 minute queue the rest of the week on 2BLs and EB. SOR queues maps at 5am. One of my friends is a commander of 1 of their major guilds. He was kitten ed we left this week as we finally would have got to meet each other in the open. He was in the process of turning FA BL completely SOR.

Edit: As i write this FA ts3 crashes because they have nearly 200 people in PVE channel

Today I logged in to forums and I got this PM from an EU guy and he is like:

“Piken Square balblahblah high tier need more off peak EU presence for leagues blahblah your guild would have a lot of competition in vs X servers coverage.”

I didnt reply. I find it amusing how competitive people get to the point of trying to recruit a small wvw guild.

Just wondering if anyone else got something similiar.

Our guild was offered 12k,10k and 5k gold to go to various servers during our process to find a new home. (We took no gold from anyone) I sold a legendary weapon and payed for my guilds transfer instead

Just this week we had another guild offer to pay our complete transfers to another server in this same match-up.

Yeah, Edge left [Abys] and joined [SE], then moved to IoJ, he is an Asuran commander there.

As for the commander you see “disappearing” from fights, he sometimes dc’s, or the whole group will leave the BL they are in, to go and protect something in EB (some may not leave because they are in combat). They usually only come into the BL’s if we need some serious help, or there is nothing in EB to take.

Also, IoJ people, do you remember when we had, what was it, a 2-3 week long matchup (IoJ/DH), and we had like 42 pages? LOL, the good ol’ days.

Any fights happening anywhere on any map that doesn’t involve 30+ SBI blobs zergin ruins? I’m already bored of spamming 1 on staff guard and seems like any map I have gone too so far the moment a ruin flips I got 30+ SBI on my kitten for it.

Good fights tonight SBI, I’m gonna have to get stronger for the battles ahead. This week starting to get interesting

Isle of Janthir World Vs. World Basic Training
Where: Isle of Janthir Citadel Waypoint (Press “B” and select Isle of Janthir Borderlands)
When: 6 PM Server time (02:00 GMT) Tuesday the 24th of September
All of Isle of Janthir citizens especially people who want to try out World Vs. World are welcomed to join. The training will go over the basics of concepts of large group fighting, basic large group mechanics, and large group commands. This is to prepare for the upcoming leagues by teaching people the basics to survive in a world vs. world setting. It is encouraged to join the Isle of Janthir’s community Teamspeak server, even if you do not have a microphone and listen in on the verbal communication.
If you like to hunt for achievements and have no clue what to do in world vs. world, then you don’t want to miss this training session! More detailed info will be disclosed as the training starts, just know it will no more than an half hour session with an hour of practice afterword.

I really wish we rolled higher. Honestly I’m sick of the low rolls and getting matched up with servers who are trying to throw into silver. No offense to any of you lower servers but I don’t think it’s fair or challenging when we outnumber others this badly. I’m sad to see this match up and wish both servers could have rolled better.

Out of all the players across all the servers of Tyria, some friends of mine from FA unknowingly performed inappropriate antics over my corpse outside that NW tower. They didn’t know it was me and I didn’t know they had transferred to NSP. We had just randomly met each other on the field of battle! Awkward! (But good for a laugh.)

Now if only the RNG gods would bless me with better loot.

I love reading the SBI/IoJ matchups. Far more entertaining than any other thread out there. CD is full of polite people who don’t forum war.

we’re not trying to “forum warrior”, think we’re just kind of sick of each other at this point.

You want forum wars of A+ quality. Go find the guuma thread. Mag is the #1 ranked troll/forum warrior server. No one can keep up with them on the forums, always makes monday mornings at work enjoyable when we fight Mag.
