Ah, I can understand your ambivalence. I don’t know if you were on the receiving end or the giving end but that can be offsetting for someone new to WvW. Try other things, escort yaks, scout (I spent 6 hours in a tower once this week just staring at the digital expanse and praying that BG or JQ would show up and try to take the tower), go find small group fights, the happen all the time.

Today, I got into a fight with a JQ Necro, his/her zerg hit ours and shattered us in the middle of the ruins. I ran like the devil was on my heels and a Necro chased after me, we fought back and forth all the way to the water camp and then back to the center before we parted ways, neither of us having killed the other. It was awesome, almost as awesome as the time 6 of us chased and tried to kill a KnT mesmer from North West camp all the way to Garri water gate, we eventually did slay him/her, but it left me scarred for life when it comes to KnT mesmers.

To reinforce this, Waha is known to focus who he thinks is going to do what ever Waha looks for in WvW. JQ’s SEA has pushed both SoR and BG’s faces in at one point or another.

TheActualTruth, i dont understand what you’re trying to achieve here but firstly i was having fun fighting in small scaled up to 40man groups I dont understand how SoR EU is PvD, its far from it with thanks to great opposing guilds but also mesmers who are traited/geared and have great knowledge of how to play them can survive for an eternity depending on who is attacking them.

But seriously leave your false acquisitions to yourself as none of us need to deal with it.
We’ve all had great fun with with maybe the hickup of queues but that died few days into the matchup.

Also your first paragraph to this thread is absurd and I only need to talk about that as it covers the other paras. SoR and BG are rivals and wont help eachother out one bit, the only thing we will organise is fights that i personally have done for IRON vs HB and COIN for example. I can actually second some of Theacualtruths information concerning straight up defending enemy keeps. 3 maps focusing jq and i saw on sor bl that bg blob would go into the keep just to sandwich jq while they were getting closer to taking it. Sor and bg would push into the jq blob at the same time and it was pretty lame. And then bg would just leave. But hey. Sor and bg can hate eachother for the next 3 weeks and honestly if theres a heavily coordinated 2v1 in anyway during week 7 then i would have to say the 2 servers that do are pretty much the lowest form of losers. As it stands its probably going to be a “anyone can win” scenario in week 7 so lets see some honor in that match

I read all the talk of JQ having it in the bag last week and held back my “never underestimate the Gate!” comments. I guess time will tell, but I’ve never once lost faith in BG no matter how many guilds come and go.

The EU #1 Glicko Ranked server got a similar schedule apparently (I don’t actually know because I don’t know the strengths of the EU servers but someone suggested it somewhere).

Those of you complaining about 2v1 need to understand that it’s the entire point of having 3 servers instead of 2. Want a fair fight, go to sPvP, want to fight 2 servers go to WvW. Anet put a target on JQ’s back by giving them the easiest schedule, if you want to be mad, be mad at them. Every server gets to be on the receiving end of a 2v1 situation at some point, I distinctly remember JQ trying to stop BG outside of their keep so that SoR could take SMC. But only JQ get’s 2v1, right?

I don’t think anyone is complaining about the 2v1 anymore except some people that really seem to be upset and can’t let go of stuff that happened before this last week.

What’s being talked about(exclude the 20 mins where I was attacked in an attempt to derail the thread by terrible individuals that couldn’t troll their own mothers and ended in a boat joke and a racist rant) is the depths of lameness that people are going to by playing into arenanet’s terrible league system and are so wanton for a reward they are willing to play for the payoff instead of for the fun.

It has made wvw entirely unenjoyable for many many people. The extreme blobbing, horrendous skill lag and the blatant disregard for 3 way wvw. And for what a golden dolyak finisher and a couple greens so they can show people they were the biggest prostitutes, ohh wait maybe they could throw in 100 gold to each person so the league winners can lie to themselves and say it was worth it.

Of course it doesn’t really come across very well in the forums especially these forums which are cancer.

I’m sure there are lots of people that enjoy playing lets see how many people we can hide inside the body of the norn guardian while playing ring around the posey spamming one under a blanket of stability till one side gives up due to boredom but I guess I’m an exception to the norm.

I mean I didn’t even point out in my 1st post how terrible the league system is that this last matchup the 1st place and 2nd place servers constantly attacked the 3rd place. The league system is backwards what’s the point in the point per tick system lol as well if there is no incentive for the 2nd place and 3rd place realms to attack the 1st we are playing a broken system.

It’s been broken since launch albeit but this last week has been so off putting to me and to my general amazement the lengths at which certain individuals go to prostitute themselves. It has disgusted me to such a large degree that I don’t think I’m going to be playing this game or maybe a long break. I actually do enjoy this game but when I see the game mode I enjoy a lot being destroyed and watching people embarrass themselves it takes the fun out of the game very quickly.

Hell I welcome 2v1’s but this last week turned 3 way wvwvw into rvr except those 2 realms never attacked each other. All I did this week was steamroll some pugs go back to the tower over and over again and listen to the prostitues coordinate themselves in voice comms. It ended with me spending more time tabbed out of the game than in it.

I understand why we did it don’t get me wrong so we have a chance at winning the league but wow it was humiliating.
