Its called having fun, I realize some people may not remember what the word means but it makes the game alot less like work. Try it sometime!

It was worth it, the hours planning and prepping for this made it that much more epic, nothing like seeing a fortified wall melt in 15secs. So to answer your question, the 52 golems were worth it. and I can confirm it was 52 only because that was the cap. we had planned 90….. talk about a fun way to end the season.

I can’t speak for everyone but it was sorta fun for us too. Fun, but in the panic-y “WHAT THE HELL?!?!” type of fun. I’ve seen golem rushes, but i think this is the largest i’ve ever witnessed.

It was pretty epic on our side as well while desperately trying to charge into the pack of golems knowing we’ll probably wipe.

Yay! FC had fun. That is the important part.

It was absolutely epic. I’ve never seen so many golems in WvW in all my GW2 life. My poor little computer graphics couldn’t even render them all.

We were all thrilled. This whole week has been kinda quietish. And all of a sudden BAM a buncha golems stealing all the things! Finally, some action! So thank you for that.

They melted the reinforced gates in like two seconds. It was insane!

I was scouting around in HOD BL when I saw this. It was so fuuny. I message out zerg with many golems at Bay. They just GOT to the gates and someone says whats timer at bay. By time I answered the gates were down and inner was going.

They ask How many Golems and how many FC and it was like just a BLOB more then ten Golems and by time that answer out Bay was gone.

So it was “get to garrison” and I only had time to set up half an arrow cart on inner and Garri was gone.

The messages on chat as to the number of Golems was too funny. I am sure we all know how many people like to exaggerate the size of a zerg and a number of golems so no one was really believing what they were seeing.

It too bad the wreckage of the Golems does not stick around. It would have been fun to give the people a tour of the dead golem strewn battlefield.

It was a lot of fun, our teamspeak was hillarious, got some loot and someone even got The Chosen, so yes well worth it

i love to see fc trying so hard!!! and all the hod players waiting for the weekend to finish and then its karma train all over the place , i think next time we should give a lead ahead in fc so its more chalenging that being afk and we still wining god kitten lol

o and the omega rush was fun!

Why so salty, dude? We were having fun. You’re gonna win Bronze Season 1 anyway, you made for a great target We wanted to see how you’d react when half your WvW team was in PvE. (don’t deny it, it’s further up in this thread)

I want to echo vBAD WOLFv in saying the three hours of capping camps was absolutely worth it. Every major WvW guild FC has had a part in this and it was glorious. Some of the most fun I’ve ever had in this game. I want to thank HoD for putting up a great fight, even beyond when all the golems were dead, and especially for all the incredibly entertaining posts in this thread

We had a couple people recording, and I’m editing down a vid now that I’ll post a bit later, hopefully today.

Very nice, that’s the whole point of the game anyhow, fun! Although you are missing out on um, geometry….you didn’t put your golems in any uh…shapes….like my guild/server. There’s a greatsword that can be used as a guide.
