Yeah we’ve gained all our points from 1am-1pm pretty much and you’ve dominated us in prime but off-peak is what will win the league.

it’s probably been as fun on your side as it is on ours during prime time (ie not very much).

We’re just not compatible servers, we’ll never make it to the honeymoon stage unlike our delicious looking matchups with the rest of the ‘mid table’ servers in the league.

Not at all, the last two nights from 5pm-10pm Gandara have ticked 400.

considering we were hitting between 200-350’s during that time, then there must of been some cheating, unless there’s 700+ points up for grabs?

That’s based on an hour ahead of my timezone, but I know from 8pm UK last night until 11pm we had a tick of 120-140 for 3 hours.

There is 695 for grabs. So one server can tick 400, while the other is in high 200 – ofc, at the expense of the poor 3rd server – which hasn’t happen that much.

Gandara higher ticking points have come at 9pm server time each night, Deso highest at 5am and UW 2am or so – is not only that deso ticks high all night, but that UW caps retakes most before hand which also denies point ticks to Gandara. As Repuran pointed out point wins are made off-peak (WvW has always worked that way, nothing new) which you are strong, making you a good contender for the league win. For that I stopped caring about them long, long ago – to me its about the fights, only way points would make sense if all servers had same coverage, which will never happen nor will change my fun I gain from WvW.

I not making stuff up there are 695 potential points, and potential outcomes how servers get them – I never said it happened! :P

I have to say that any Gandarans who thinks Desolation are hiding some kind of force which will magically appear over the next 7 weeks are kidding themselves. When we last fought Deso there was a 40 man blob every morning karma training all the maps, this week we’ve hardly ever been outmanned at that time in the morning, even on Deso BL.

Oh, but we WILL have a sudden huge influx of people in WvW once the league starts… for the first 2-3 days.

After that, 99% of them will have already completed getting their precious APs (our PvE players can be scarily efficient, just check the total Tequatl kills so far) and we will go back to business as usual.

Let’s hope the first week is against you and Abaddon, so we will have a chance at beating you :P

Interesting fights on UW BL just now, I must of put a big Target on myself after posting about my Roaming tag and all!
Apologies about forgetting about the post I made about me looking for Duels, I got caught up with having to Command 5 hours last night.

I’m appalled by the general behaviour of Desolation this week, they rarely engage with equal numbers and chase small group of players across map only to jump on their corpses and laugh. Never a chance for 1v1 or 2v2 with the constant interruptions by other Deso players and the customary emotes to express their superiority because hey, it takes skill to kill others with greater numbers, amirite?

Deso guilds have been ok for the most part, we usually are outnumbered greatly but enjoy the fights, I wish you guys engage more often instead of waiting for another guild for backup most of the time. One of your guilds usually greatly outnumber us so why not have a fair(ish) fight instead of waiting for the other blob to aid you?
With similar numbers on open fields we tend to wipe them most of the time which may explain their unwillingness to engage us

Well, good luck in Gold league Deso I guess… hope we won’t meet again in this upcoming season.

@Prevvy I’ve had the same problem this week, I often hear the name “Gankdara” but I don’t have a big grudge against you guys, it’s just some misunderstandings that led to all this unnecessary QQ.
One hour ago I had Gandarans go 2v1 against my Alt I don’t even know how to play, besides mashing every button I have!
Apologies about the griefing/teabagging on my behalf, but you can’t control everyone!
