Remove Enemy Server Party Invites
Umm..why are you grouping up with the enemy if you don’t want them spying?
/edit: Aaaah, now i fully understand your post…that’s most likely a problem with the transfer system. Transfers should cost much more and only be payable by money, not converted gold.

These silent “competetive” fights are ridiculous. Its completely realistic to be able to speak to your opponent. So if they add a /shout which sends to all servers within 20m or something, then yes removal of the cross-server group “exploit” is perfectly acceptable. /say would of course still be limited to your own server as usual.
If you remove the party invites, you’d have to add some other mean of communication . The people I play against aren’t my enemies, they are just my opponents in a game and I want to talk to the people that I play with. I have made many good friends from the opposing servers thanks to this party invite freature. In fact, think I have more WvW friends from other servers than my own.
Removing this feature would make the already very shallow WvW experience even more monotonic and mindless.
Also, trolls keep trolling anyway and this party invite feature isn’t even a very good trolling tool. They could achieve the same effect using a VOIP or video streaming anyway. Hell, they could even use a third party addon such as gw2mov.

It maybe realistic in real life to speak to your opponent, but i doubt you can group up in real life and have an interface of them inside your brain and chat with them via text and press m to see where they are.
But this is a game and its not realistic.
If the fun of 50 players gets spoiled because 1 guy is a jerk and leads the enemy zerg into you to wipe you, it is not acceptable !

So we should let them other options to make it even easier for them ?

Yeah, you would just use a radio.

But it is not the fault of the invite party feature. In fact, it’s just a fundamental design flaw of WvW: you are automatically assumed to be ally of a given world. Say, there are spies in Eve online too, but there are also methods to deal with them.

You kinda dont understand this is a GAME and not REAL LIFE. You can controll it and make it fair and fun for everyone.
And i dont care if you can deal with spies in Eve online. You don’t have any options to deal with them in Guild Wars 2. Grouping reveals the EXACT position whereas with voip they can only pass on APPROXIMATE positions.
/join is the only way to banter with your enemies about their builds, find sparring partners in the open or thank for fights congratulate on wins. Why take that away from a game?

You can use third party progarm to see the exact position on map anyway. gw2mov or something. Or you could stream video. Nothing you can do about it since you can’t remove the spy from your team here in gw2.

its very easy to no accept a invite from another server and if you dont accept then he cant see anything tho if they are on your server and relaying info on then its something else and that dont change anything with the partying systems capabiltys to inv players from enemy servers

It won’t stop the spy from just whispering the enemy commander and letting him know your location. I like grouping with opponents and chatting
We have serious troll and spy problems on our Server. There is no reason to help them, by keeping this unnecessary function to invite enemy players into your party. Basically the spy and the enemy commander group up and the spy keeps running with the zerg/commander from our server so the enemies know where we are.
It is hard enough already to play with all the trolls that pulverize our supplies and build 30 trebuchets at our mainbase and the spies that sit in our ts / map and pass on information where we approximately are and where our next movement gonna be.
But there is no reason to give them a marker on the map !
Don’t accept invites from “Server Invader”
Ignore invites from “Server Invader”
Is it really that hard?
The devs don’t care about WvW so I’m gonna kill players in PvE!
If they let you chat with enemies with /say and whisper like every other mmo game i would be ok with this else no.
You can’t prevent spying in this game. You can easily buy another account and put it into any server you like. You’ll know the whereabouts easily.

Yeah i know. But it is still a huge difference to have a marker on the map with exact positions or verbal information with approximate whereabouts ( as i said before if you would have read ) it wouldnt stop spying, but it would help a little bit.

lol says the person complaining about something ANet has already responded to by saying “there’s nothing we can do, good luck!”

Dude, you suggested to me that i dont party up with the enemy server. You should google or wiki the meaning of “SPY”.
And please link me that official statement of Anet if there is one.
And THIS suggestion i made is something they CAN do.
Personally I like being able to meet and talk to people from other servers. Met some very nice people from all servers that way. If some one invites themselves and is being a jerk, just report them, block them, and move on.
As far as spies… even if you couldn’t party across the lines it wouldn’t help as voice chat is far better for that anyways.
What they could do is not allow transfers from one server to another if the two are fighting each other in WvW though. That way they would have to buy a separate game and leave that toon on the other servers (nothing they could really do about preventing that)
As far as building siege etc… A-net considers that “siege greifing” Take screenshots/video and send it into their support.

I think you failed to understand the OP’s post :P
Why would you want this removed? I’ve made a lot of friends on other servers we’ve gone against partying up with random people I duel. If you don’t want to talk to the people you’re fighting, you could just not talk to them. Why take it away for people who do want to talk to people on the other servers?
OP clearly just wants to delete party invitation for some other personal reasons he is not stating. Like I have said 3 times now, it is possible to achieve the same “blue dot on map” effect via a popular 3rd party addon.
Partying with an enemy server in WvW is like two sides of a coin. Sometimes its good, sometimes its harmful. I don’t know how people do it though.
Sometimes people join my party to share a build to improve each other..most the time people troll or complain.
On stupid occasion they join a commander’s party or join a party that might refuse voice chat or something…and typing all their movements…which happens unfortunately.
Or the one that makes me laugh, people that are “friends” on different servers and use each other to give “silent hints” like: “We gonna wipe your garrison”. Could be false info..but I have had the laughable pleasure of being in a party with such a person.
There are other situations but those are the ones that happened while I’m in the party.
If you’re not keen on talking with another server, don’t accept the invite. If you accepted and notice that he’s just spying, then kick him from the party or reform your group.
I know all of us could really be drawn in when playing, but servers are just composed of people too. I always find the time to congratulate a good opponent (or, at times, ask how the heck he/she could have downed me so fast, lol).
You’ll get interesting conversations, and, who knows, you might get a friend.
If you’re asking this to prevent people from spying it won’t help. People will just find other ways to communicate, example; whispers, or voice chat.
One way to combat spying is have one commander in your guild tag up, while the rest of the guild runs tagless away from the other group. Coordinate the militia group in a public voice chat, and coordinate the guild group in a private voice chat. Keep the “serious” conversations in the guild voice chat, only relaying what you have to in the public voice chat.
If the “spy” starts following the guild group, have the two groups switch roles.
Just make it as hard as possible for the spy to do their thing, and all the spy will end up doing is give bad intel to the enemy.
