Change week 7 to SBI/FA/YB so we FA can team up with SBI,

Also SBI is the only server with ESO invites and a Thanksgiving holiday to celebrate with their families… in fact I believe SBI is the only server who has players with families in this matchup, so it’s a double whammy because you have responsibilities outside of GW2 that we don’t have to attend to either.

Yaks and EBay have been thanking their lucky stars all week that all of these SBI-only events arose on the same week! In fact, knowing that this perfect storm was coming, most of us bought stadium buddies, ordered a dozen extra large pizzas and a flat of red bull on Friday afternoon and haven’t left our desks since reset to take advantage of your misfortunes!

Fair enough. I was not playing the week you describe, so I didn’t know. Or you could be the bigger man and stop the cycle. I know I will do my best to do that.

Sorry, I’m used to playing tournaments. I forgot the wvw community is really like this all the time.

What they are saying is “As long as we are not on the receiving end double teaming is fine but if we are on the receiving end, its just not fair”.

I don’t really understand why people are thinking this. If you told anyone before the matchup that Ebay would be fighting for 2nd place on Thursday, they would have called you crazy. Ebay can take care of themselves just fine, and it’s not like we can force them to help us or something.

We already knew there was no way to get into the top 3 for the remaining weeks…but we COULD secure a friendship that could last a while, along with making SBI cry glorious tears we could sell on the trading post for millions of gold, and guarantee 4th. Sounds like we win overall.

Maybe you’re not a sports fan… you may be unacquainted with the role of the ‘spoiler’ team. It’s the longstanding sporting tradition – ‘if we can’t win, we are going to make sure we do everything we can to make sure you don’t either’.

Misery loves company. We were already miserable in this pre-determined league, and now you are our company.

Oh, and make no mistake about it… EBay had already decided we were gunning for you in this matchup regardless of what Yaks Bend did to us based on what happened in the last one. We wanted to make you bleed… who knew it was going to be this effective.

Yaks and Ebay Dont sit around and act like sbi just let u take our kitten. I think u guys have gone though 500 plus omegas this week. Also if u has not teamed up with ebay. You would have been 2nd place. At least when we have beat yaks and ebay in the past Sbi can do it without help from the other server and without 500 plus omegas.

You are simply misinformed. YB lost their entire golem force, and had most of their keeps crippled at least 3-5 hours before retaliation began against SBI. Had the retaliation not occurred, SBI would have been in a grossly unfair position at NA prime time Tuesday night.

That initial saboteur attack could very well have reversed SBI’s fortunes and allowed them to win. Unfortunately for SBI, it’s saboteurs just made YB’s vast majority of legitimate players even more determined to win. We had a huge influx of PVE players from non prime time hours who heard about the sabotage and wanted payback.

Also every keep on SBI BL that you managed to retake last night is tainted by the actions of roughly 4 saboteurs that were operating against Yak’s bend at the time.

SBI lost all our supply, our entire golem force as well + had 2 servers going only for us..

So yea… cheater’s suck…But having cheaters + 2 servers against you sucks even more.

I think YB accepts that some of the saboteurs are from YB but equally the ones on YB are from SBI. Most players don’t support it but neither can we stop it.

All it will mean is less people playing wvw and that is always a bad thing. No idea why people can’t just play the game without the elementary school stuff.

Oh I have no doubt we had some SBI players doing it as well.

I believe they said someone from Bags was doing it, and I know someone posted screenshots of someone from SBI doing it (I’m assuming it was from SBI, they didn’t friend him so i don’t know the account name of the player)

I do know that TehFoe though is from Yak’s Bend… and the time stamps were very telling, He was doing it right before Yak’kitten Garrison, which means those players are just as guilty.

Only if people organising the attack know what is happening. What is much more likely is that the saboteurs know the attack is coming and are pre-empting it.

you’re impying that SBI belongs in silver leagues, same with YB, and FA. with all the people SBI has i doubt that YB and EB is completely overwhelming you. it looks like to me that SBI is purposely trying to tank last minute to stay in silver leagues and not face servers with equal numbers.

Remember we were within 10k of you Monday night till some people started draining our supply and killing our golems.

The next day we had no supply to defend against the 2v1 and thus you ended up with a bigger gap.

If you don’t think that helped…You clearly have forgotten the last matchup with us where we didn’t rely on a 2nd server for help, and had 100k points over you

Your last matchup with Yaks Bend also featured IoJ, the lowest population server of Silver league and the one who well and truly got screwed by this whole ordeal that we called league play. It’s easy to claim how superior you are when you have a 3rd server in the mix that cannot defend itself against you, quite different when there’s not an easy target you can leach points from for every tick of the match.

WvWvW is NEVER 1v1. The 3rd server is ALWAYS a factor in the outcome.
