Totally disagree. The beauty and genius of this event is it starts with a massive zerg, and slowly breaks it apart piece by piece until it literally comes down to a small group of individuals. You cannot ride the wave of this event, if you want to succeed, you yourself must improve your gameplay.
Phase 2 does not have the numbers problem if the lanes coordinate in advance to ensure 25 people get through the portal. I’ve never seen an issue with a platform having a significantly fewer number of players at it unless the had some DCs.
Love this event, I wish it was permanent! I’d love to see more stuff like this in the future!
I am really upset by this change. Sylvari Armors always dyed so blandly, then it FINALLY got fixed. I bought several Toxic dyes because of the changes, with both gold and real cash. They looked amazing! Now they look terrible again. I feel like I’ve just wasted my money. PLEASE change this back or give us the option to turn our glow on or off.
I can also now confirm that this bug killed me in the Pirate Puzzle in LA, I fell down the water fall, and the moment I stepped on “dry” land I fell again onto the land, dying instantly. Please fix!
I too have been seeing this and have posted video of the bug in action. This bug takes several forms, but essentially boils down to the game not registering fall damage until after the character takes one step. If the character takes several short jumps in a row without taking a step between them, as soon as they take one step they will take all of the accrued fall damage at once.
This means that several small jumps that would not normal kill a player because they would be able to heal between them, will prove lethal.

Make sure to watch my health as I take NO damage from the fall, but am them immediately hit with multiple ticks to my health the second I take a step. I even fall, get up and receive boons from my signet passive, take a step, and fall over dead.
As Jump Puzzles are included in the Monthly Achievement, this is going to be highly problematic for many players. It also makes the Borderlands Puzzle nearly impossible as it includes many small, closely spaces jumps.

Used my makeover kit, no glow. I have just been told so far to wait for the patch to see if it’s fixed, and go from there. Any idea when Sylvari will be fixed and I can glow again? I only used one kit so as long as the changes get made sometime I don’t mind, but kinda bummed that I spent gems to give my Sylvari glow (because for some dumb reason i didn’t give her glow when I made her) and I am sitting here, out gems, with no glow. Any sort of update on what we can expect would be much appreciated. I’ve got to be honest, it’s a little frustrating to see others getting refunds, and I’m being told to just wait and see. Glad things are getting sorted out. Thanks for your help!

I have not received any sort of refund and my changes have not appeared, nor have a received a replacement kit so I can make the changes. I’m a little confused now. Has the bug been fixed? Help?
I have run into the same issue. I used a kit today to change the glow of my Sylvari and even though the kit preview showed the change, no change was made to my character. I have already submitted a ticket.
