When you agree to help Paenula in the “Help Paenula train troops” heart mission in Plains of Ashford, the net shot function needed to capture the beasts for the pit is locked. This was the case for two other players who were there at the same time my character was. The dialogue box says you cannot use the “net shot” function while transformed, but in this case the rifle is the transform, so no way not to be transformed.
