I run D/WH too… problem with the build in general is you run out of things to do. You use your few damaging skills and everything else is so situational I sit there staring at myself autoattack. Life Siphon- full hp. Low dmg. No need. Dark Pact. I don’t need to immob anything. No need. Etc.

Dagger autoattack is too good. Damage needs to be reduced on it and redistributed to other skills you can use for a damage increase if their primary purpose isn’t needed.

I feel the same way sometimes. I usually run a dagger well build, and even with well and warhorn traits if I don’t perfectly micromanage my abilities or I make a mistake I get so cooldown starved and end up dodging in and out mixing in dagger1 chains for 10 someodd seconds waiting for utilities or my horn skills to come back up.

In a dagger/whorn well build, dazing a large group of enemies inside a WoS is always satisfying. Its 2 seconds(3 traited) that the enemy isnt doing damage to you, which is a bigger deal than it seems in PvE and can be used both offensively with wells/dagger1 chain or defensively as an escape tool if you get in over your head.

I haven’t personally tested how epidemic works with siphoning, but levelling with Vampiric and Vampiric Precision only I noticed that even using abilities that didnt cause any damage would grant a siphon on contact with the enemy. Whorn 4 for sure grants a siphon for every mob it applies the stun debuff too, and I’m almost certain that even non-damaging wells get it per pulse even without taking the well siphoning trait.

I would wait for actual testing to confirm it, but it would appear that the siphoning traits do treat single applications of conditions as a hit.

It’s like Christmas at an orphanage, most of us are happy to get anything at all. That said I’ve always liked focus but now I may just have to dust off my axe as well.
