Guild Wars 2

So i am fairly new to ranger. For the last few days I have been trying out the Axe/Torch & SB Meta. I find it very boring. I would like to stick with a condition based build since all my other characters are the typically berserker power builds.

Is Sword mainhand a viable weapon for a condition build? If anyone runs a build like this I would love to hear how it works. I mainly run open world events/zergs. Sometimes dungeons and low level fractals.

I really like the idea of a heavy armor, rifle wearing character. A sort of big game hunter if you will. Is the rifle a viable weapon for any class at this point? I would mostly be pve with the occasional dungeons.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure if Wintersday still used these currencies or if they switched it up for something else. I’ll just hold on to them then.

So I recently just started playing again after a 2 year break. Trying to get my bank in order and I have several stacks of old wintersday items. Ugly wool socks and stuff that was in the game in 2013.

Are these items worth keeping? Are they even useful in the current state of the game?

Hello,

I would like to apply as a student. I played GW2 at launch for probably a year and then real life sort of took over. I have 1 level 80 but never got too far into the high level content. I am just now getting back into the game and trying to learn all the new systems. I would love to have a group of people to play with that just enjoy the game and are willing to help others.
