The installer they offer just installs the client. There is no full download. Like most MMOs, the game doesn’t even need to be installed. All you need to do is make a copy of your Gw2.dat and Gw2.exe files.

As the title says, is there such a download available somewhere? I will be upgrading my pc in a few days and I will lose all data, so downloading the game again via the game client will take a while for me (slow internet). So I wanted to download it before hand and keep it safe so I can just install it and update and start playing right away. Any info appreciated.
