Power Reaper build, ideal base crit chance?

At this point for me personally. For raids however, I wouldn’t run power necro personally. Someone will normally just try to single you out at the first wipe. Speaking from exp.

Those are usually the people who can’t see their own flaws/the whole picture though. It’s not worth changing your whole playstyle just because someone doesn’t take a minute to think.

Power Reaper build, ideal base crit chance?

As someone that dabbled in this in PvE, I would say that I would prefer either 0 or 50%.

While I think blood magic is the better option, here, if you’re adamant on soul-reaping, I would want to drop death perception for foot in the grave, and take 50% crit chance from zerker. Necro has limited dodging, so that stun break will save you a lot of hp/life force, which in turn keeps you in the fray dpsing longer. Decimate defenses can get you the other 50%, wherein I would want to take cavalier or crusader. I personally prefer toughness over vitality by the simple fact that if you’re going to trait staves and take a greatsword, you probably will generate life force fine (although it’s not good, I once did it just to equip the crossing for flavor). If you then take blighter’s boon, you gain hp in shroud every time you 1 for might. Then toughness should increase your effective hp more than vitality. Cavalier is basically straight damage, and crusader is if you want some healing power on top of toughness while still gaining power/ferocity.

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty happy with Necromancer. Not the base class, no, but the base class traits do, in fact, synergize REALLY well with Reaper (whether or not you think it’s good that its mandatory is another issue). Almost to the point of absurdity with the number of ways you can build it. The only flaws in are are lack of burst damage, sub-optimal power dps (although you can trait for “okay” damage while being pretty kitten hard to kill), and inherent selfishness. Although I feel that the selfishness is fine when you consider how stupidly powerful abilities like epidemic have the potential to be.

In PvP, too, it has a lot of useful synergies, like plague being able to perma-blind/chill(bleed) while your team cleans up. You could even bait the enemies into condition spamming yourself into a transfer/epidemic if you so chose. I’m not much of a PvPer, but even I can see it has a lot of potential applications.

Sell me voice packs. I would like to buy different personality for some of my characters. They don’t have to have all the story lines. Combat dialogue would be fine, but I would pay extra for them having story dialogue too, I suppose.

Druids in PvE

Although it’s expensive, no one is talking about zealot-geared druids. I’ve been having more fun with reaper, but at 1200 range, I’m not really finding that I’m less safe than other professions due to my pet soaking significant aggro while I keep it up and supplement dps. I do find it a bit disheartening that the best spec for druid is one of the least friendly to achieve though.

Ventari and why YOU should be the tablet

I haven’t made a rev since the BWEs because of the Halloween event, but I actually really like the tablet. I do, however have extra buttons on my mouse to micromanage Ventari though, because using my left hand for all that and weapon skills was annoying.

On the other hand, if the tablet was not controllable independent of me, I would NOT use it, because I often will put it in places I myself do not want to be. My druid is in full Zealot, and I would consider running a Zealot hammer rev since apothecary was kinda meh when I tested it in BWE (though the 25 area might stacking was super cool). If not that, I’d probably try celestial with mace (because might)/shield and hammer. Either way, I wouldn’t want to be directly in the position my tablet would be because it would be.

We lack LF-Gen badly still after BWE fixes and this just made it even worse, cause it took away the option of getting LF from allies. I understand why this could be regarded as to strong but then do as Above ppl have staited give us some xtra way to get LF-Gen or Sustain…

…would be fun to actually use RS but kinda hard when dont gave us the tools

What are you running, exactly? Right now I’m running full knight + wurm runes and using spite/soul reaping/reaper. Thus far soul reaping is keeping my lifeforce generation/loss relatively stable along with the toughness, and traiting shouts allows me to use “Your Soul is Mine” enough that it does its job. Granted, I don’t sPvP, so I’m not sure what the reaper situation there is like. (Just trying to help you for the time being, btw.)

Honestly, I wouldn’t complain if it got reworked to something like (I cannot stress enough that this is an example rather than a true suggestion) 3 lifeforce/5 hp per condition placed. Given all the cleave, I throw out conditions like candy on halloween, especially in shroud, between all the vuln and burning (dhuumfire traited) on 1, the stun/chill(+vuln)/ice combo field and massive whirl combo on 4 that also applies massive amounts of poison. I don’t even run condi (currently running knight with wurm runes), and I’m doing a respectable amount of condition damage.

Much like shouts, this would scale hardest in groups and fall in effectiveness against big single targets like champions and legendaries (unless you run an actual condition build like staff or scepter condi build, which would scale harder with this in general, but the low numbers and high frequency would wind up limiting healing power). In group play, this is more or less how I play, juggling 2 life bars to soak damage and aggro while outputting as hard as I can and counting my timer on “Your Soul is Mine” to fill both bars as often as possible and locust signet because it’s just that awesome.

Not that I would presume to suggest I know what’s best for the class or anything. I more would prefer to point out how I value control and reliability in my trait with something the class is actually good at rather than an improvised trait that’s a husk of its former self. Not blaming anyone for that, ’cause I can clearly see how impossible that would be to balance around the number of players.

Dialogue Audio Gone During Cinematics

This is something that impacted me during seemingly random portions of dialogue also. Was most noticeable during vigil storyline for me, but I recall instances of it happening in general personal story cinematics.
