I have been on SOR since day 1. Personally I think the teir 2 server to go to is TC and if you are still interested in T1 go to JQ, they need the man power. No reason to make anymore stacked servers they all end up breaking down.

I doubt it. From an outsider’s perspective, IRON seems like stand up guys that aren’t out here for ego stroking. They came to NA looking for a different experience and to help move a top tier server into the #1 spot. They scouted all three T1 servers and made their decision based on where it seemed like they were needed the most. The thing is, I don’t think they expected it to happen in the very first week. Now they’re looking around scratching their heads with their primary goal already accomplished, and they’re not finding the fun encounters they were hoping for. Hopefully that changes sometime soon.

If anything, this proves how precarious WvW server balance is in this game. I think morale, driven primarily by a player’s perception of their server’s ability to win, has a larger impact on WvW participation than many people realize.

There is a lot of whispers of the EU servers doing a bit of shuffling. I’m betting IRON will get some good competition here in the next few weeks. Once they arrive I’m hoping both BG/JQ’s NA can start showing up on a regular basis again, gets boring doing all this PvDoor during NA for NA servers.

Be careful what you wish for. Hopefully SoR doesn’t start crying when the tables turn. While I agree that you guys are fighting hard now and BG and JQ have more or less thrown in the towel for various reasons, it isn’t always going to be like that. Hope this bravado will still be there when you guys are facing equal numbers because I do believe SoR still is the server to beat during NA prime.

SOR will always be out there fighting. The forum trolls will do what they want but the real w3 guilds/players will never give up. We have been in the worst position for almost our whole time in T1 and T2 and that never stopped us. So please bring our NA some equal numbers.

Can we hold on the trolling for a few minutes and put up a score update. I hope DB does come up I would love to fight some of our old competitors. Maybe they will even bring GvGs back. Fear truly misses those days. Also don’t worry TW, I will keep you guys out of harms way :P

FEAR drops legendaries not precurors so come back anytime we love the fights. Most fun I had in a while, more fighting less running. :P

This is so minor of an advantage that I really dont think it changes much. If you do want something to complain about talk about how Leg Specialist Warriors + ACs = OP lock down.

You want even numbers? No Queue on our own borderlands:
Fear, TW, hitting bay, and then Tysm and VoTF hitting hills. We would teleport to one keep, wipe you, teleport to the other, wipe the other server. Back and forth back and forth until the both of you gave up and left the map.

Then later TW, and Fear show up again, and this time you clearly outnumbered us (and dont give me any bullkitten about this one. Your zerg in hills clearly had at least 20 more people than we did, and you were hitting bay at the same time) and we still held for ages. And while you were doing this, we took bay and hills on your borderlands (because you had sent so many people to our BL rather than defend your own home)

All this talk of JQ pvdooring, but the only time SoR ever seems to take anything is when we’re outnumbered by miles. Ofc they then come brag about it on the forums, and then to top it off complain that we’re outnumbering them! It’s hilariously laughable.

I honestly cannot count the number of times today that noodles would broadside a zerg, kill 20+ people in the first skills, and then not 30 seconds later, another zerg, just as, if not larger, than ours would rush us. And then you have the absolute gall to talk about open field fights as if they were some end-all measure of skill. Spoiler alert: your own numbers were winning you most of those open field engagements, not any individual or team skill. You werent portal bombing, stacking, ambushing, or anything that requires more co-ordination than “follow the commander” you were rushing forward and winning by sheer force of numbers.

Go watch tysm sometime. They actually engage zerg fights with a bit of thinking. I know when tysm is attacking us because it comes out of nowhere. With SoR it’s always “Oh hey, look at the 60 people making a mad dash towards us. I bet they’ll brag about winning this fight later even though they’ve got double our numbers”

Super special funfact time:
We had no queue on any borderlands for at least 4 hours of primetime NA
Our EBG queue was 10 minutes long, even when we were holding mendons/anz and attacking the overlook.

Hell I dont even know why I expected any change in SoR. Back when I was fighting you from fort aspenwood months ago you were the exact same. We all used to joke that the most arrogant players had all somehow wound up on the memorial server. But hey, whatever, I guess T1 doesnt actually change servers.

Probably gonna get an infraction for this post. But someone had to lay down the truth.

For all you members in tysm, VoTF, and the rest of SoS, keep fighting the good fight.
For those of you in Choo, keep running those pain trains on EBG (and maybe dont kill my yaks so much ;__;)
For the rest of you (and TW especially) maybe take a step back and re-evaluate yourselves.

I love how fear, hel, ul, axa, and plum held down and fully upgraded all the keeps in tc bl. Great job guys. Too bad something with the log in servers kicked us all out of tc bl and wecome back to see it all gone!!! Can I have a refund on all the gold I spent on siege/upgrades plz Anet.

I’d like to address the exploiting that our guild has been accused of. We’ve seen the video and have taken immediate action after deliberating with our main officers. The exploiter has been removed from the guild. TID is a small guild that is trying to build itself to be a major force in WvW and we don’t want the actions of one person to effect the legitimacy of our entire guild. So I’d like to apologize on behalf of TID, but I’d like to be clear that the issue has been addressed and we would like to move forward. Thank you for your understanding on this issue.
