I have Google Authenticator for everything, even my Tumblr. So I think I should be alright. I just don’t want my credit card information floating around out there, I’ve already had identity theft once. Luckily, I have a company watching my account and identity since it was extremely recent (like tax season recent) so if anything were to be in my name I’d know about it before whoever stole it could blink twice.

I have renters insurance, however in big bold letters it states theft is not covered. So I’ve been paying for a crap policy for almost 2 years and am extremely angry due to all of the money lost. We’ve replaced my laptop, which was more dire than the other stuff since i’m in the middle of finishing my master’s thesis and trying to apply for jobs, but my fiance’s equipment was about 85% of what was originally stolen.

Not yet, we’re still trying to recover everything since it did just happen. I just got a laptop that will play the game without serious lag, my old machine was a 2011 HP and ran it on lower mid settings. It wasn’t exactly pretty, but it ran. I was trying to hold out until I got a new laptop, and now that we have to replace all of this stuff, I don’t think we’ll get it for a while. I wish we could, I’ve been looking forward to the expansion and so has Xalarag since he heard about it.

That’s the feeling right now. We live on the third floor of an apartment complex, someone had to have been watching us or tried the other 23 doors first before finding ours. Our apartment was locked last night, and when we woke up, it wasn’t and our stuff was missing. My fiance’s car was also ransacked, and there was mud everywhere in it. Luckily it wasn’t a lot of my stuff, it was mostly his, but my bassoon was right next to my laptop, and my car keys were in plain sight. If they had stolen my bassoon I would be out for blood, but they didn’t. So everyone is safe. It’s a horrible feeling knowing someone we don’t know came into our home and took stuff while we were sleeping. I had been up about an hour before they came in, too.

Yeah thanks dude. It really does, someone found a key in my fiance’s car and let themselves into our apartment. Stole both our laptops, my nook and wallet, and a bunch of his music equipment for digital music. they also stole my kitten sunglasses, which made me more angry than my laptop, but I’ll survive. We’re out close to 5k. it’s a little ridiculous, but the area we live in has gotten really bad recently.
Thanks for the advice, since our passwords were changed I don’t think we’ll have an issue. It’s just finding out how to remotely log out of everything we were logged in to.

First of all, your signature is perfect. I love it.

We had our accounts auto-filled on our laptops, so it remembers your password and everything. I’ve already changed my password, as has he, but i was wondering if there was a way to turn that off from arenanet’s side, or if that was a thing specific to the computer.

So my laptop running GW1 and 2 was stolen out of my apartment last night, as was my fiance’s. We both have 2 step authenticators, but were both logged in to our accounts with auto fill capabilities.

Is there any way to unlink our laptops from the clients without having to go through customer support/services? If we need to, we obviously will, but I’m not sure they are open given the holiday tomorrow.
