The thing is though is that this game ran fine during the Beta Weekends, of course besides WvW. But your post has a bit of a “I have a better PC than you” condescending tone to it. Also where the kitten did you learn to type?
I did however fix it with a bit of OCing.
Kind of sucks though because I defiantly exceed the min. requirements. I hope they better optimize this game because I feel many people are being, or have been, turned off to this.
For reference here are my computer specs:
AMD Phenom II X6 1055t 2.8Ghz 6-Core
AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6850 (12.10 Cata. Control Center Driver)
12GB DDR3 Ram
Window 7 SP1
My settings in-game are all at low/off and the shaders are at Native. If I’m standing in a zone, let’s say Lonar’s Pass, I’ll idle between 50-60 FPS. But once I start attacking it goes down to 30-40, maybe 20-30. In LA it’s always around 17. But the worst is during WvW. In which case I’ll get about 6 FPS if I’m in the zerg, or about 10-25 just fighting about at supply camps and what not. Also it likes to jump around everywhere in SPVP. I did what the “FPS and Performance” sticky asked me and it didn’t fix a whole lot. It almost felt like I got better FPS on my older Athlon CPU. Why is this happening? Is my CPU/GPU really that bad?
