Guild Wars 2

I’m currently on the mission “Rage Suppression”, but when you find Steeltongue, who starts out invulnerable and is supposed to, his lackeys that you have to fight, first, never spawn, meaning you can’t progress.

Thank you. I suppose it’s something I’ve never bothered to notice before now, which is strange considering I’ve run that mission over 18 times in the last year. I was mainly concerned because I had a level 10 unable to earn XP inside of her mission instance, either, but re-logging a few times fixed that one.

After the third re-log (and another patch download) all of my characters, save for one, can earn XP within missions instances. My Charr Elementalist, Aelina Flamepaw, still is not gaining XP inside of her mission, Retribution, however.

Like the title says: None of my under-level-eighty characters are earning experience points inside mission instances.

All right, so I did complete it, only the game decided not to allow the quest to finish. During the final part of the mission, where you defeat the Elder Dragon Zhaitan, I noticed the very first quest upon entering the VoD storyline – Find the first power core – was now back in objectives list.

The quest went smoothly, and the Elder Dragon was defeated, but because the “Find the first power core” mission was somehow back in my objectives list, the game wouldn’t recognize the fact that I’d finished the story.

It’s becoming a bit of an annoyance, and definitely, is becoming a time-waster.

Is this a known bug, or is my toon just supremely unlucky? I completed VoD on another not long ago and had no problems.
