Of course there is a limit: Learning whether or not Braham likes ham
So….
Does Braham like ham?
I had been wanting to post this for a while, but the suggestions subforum disappeared. Luckily:

The suggestions forum was archived in favor of posting in relevant subforums.
There isn’t a user interface subforum and none of the others seem any more relevant than general, so here we go.
Suggestion: Invisible bag highlight in the “don’t view bags” mode.
A simple option to turn on a blue/purple tinted background would go miles towards letting us know which slots were part of the invisible bag. Obviously it isn’t an issue for showing bags mode and it seems most people who use the other mode size their inventory window so that the top/bottom x rows are invisible, but it seems like an actual UI difference would be helpful.
If there is already an option for this, or it already does something similar and I’m just blind then… uhh sorry.
Hey, thanks everyone! We spent a lot of time tweaking the balance on this, and I’m glad that so many people appreciate our efforts. We REALLY like hearing that people are making memories and cheering each other on. Those are the kinds of experiences we make MMOs for.
I’m not surprised that the Wurm is not liked by as many people. We were making that specifically for the hard core groups that are all about the organization and figuring out the strategy and tactics. It’s really cool watching the community grapple with this puzzle and innovate as they get closer and closer to finding a winning strategy.
Any chance for some review on the possibility of leaving the Marionette in the game permanently? I mean, I’m all for hard core raid content full of organization and strategy and tactics, but it would be nice to have big boss events that don’t need 150+ people all on voice chat screaming at each other to do various things. You know, things the rest of us can do too.
It was speculated earlier this week or last week that LA could be destroyed, but many said that this would be very difficult to handle since it would interfere with the personal story and map completion
Now I don’t think that they would make the entire zone inaccessible. They can just make the landscape completely different, which they have always done during the holiday/themed events. For example, there could be charred remains of buildings, the roof of the BLTC can be gone, some of the ships could have fallen off and created new buildings to access, the mystic forge can be partially destroyed (yay?)
There needs to be a permanent reminder from the end of this Living Story, so that people can say, yep, I was there when the BLTC got destroyed. Right now, many of the changes are out of sight, out of mind. It would be nice to have LA completely destroyed or inconvenient to go around, while it steadily and noticeably gets repaired and improved through subsequent patches.
This is the reason they need to phase out the personal story. Because of the personal story, we can never change some things. Orr will forever be a desolate zombie infested wasteland, undead will continually attack certain points. This is especially notable in bloodtide coast. We’re here what, 2, 3 years after finishing the personal story? Skritt and vigil are standing around in the same spot that the wurm guys show up talking about how the undead just attacked some dredge and that they are on the front lines in the war.
If the living story would have been around from the very start, we could be cleaning up Orr right now or all kinds of other cool things. Lions Arch could be blown up completely because there would be no personal story clogging the gears.
Maybe there is a way to keep it, similar to GW1 where going to Shing Jae Island in factions with a prophecies character would pop up a message saying “stuff that happened here happened before you arrived.” If they did that, “personal story occurred x years ago,” not much would even need to be changed since the whole thing is instanced anyway.
Guild Wars 1 had a fancy feature on the bank where you could instantly deposit and withdraw all your gold and platinum into your bank. I was wondering if it would be possible to implement this feature into Guild Wars 2.
Is there anywhere to check WvW status without being in the game? Preferably with a map showing who controls what along with the pie-chart of area control and score with orbs.
So I hit level 30 not too long ago and unlocked some elites. I got Lich Form because it sounded cool but when I use it my female necromancer is replaced with a giant male lich. Is this a bug? I saw that big list of necromancer issues, so I know there are more pressing matters than fixing this but it still kind of bothers me.
We should be able to dye our underwear. It isn’t a major issue but it would be a most welcome feature.
Drama queen with good taste for woman.
Good taste in women? Since when did Logan switch from the Queen to Countess Anise?
Yeah, I know about the swamp event being triggered by talking to the woman in the camp, but it is also on a 3 hour timer according to the wiki, although I’d be willing to bet it is more like 6-8 hours.
Not sure about the centaur one in the hinterlands. It went so often I never even bothered to look it up.
How do you feel about the meta event frequency?
Personally I feel some are way to infrequent, such as the swamp behemoth in Queensdale. I did that on my first character my first time through the zone, but since then I’ve helped three friends 100% the zone at different times on alts (one of which I kept checking the swamp after every other heart) and never have seen it again. Which is a horrible shame because none of my friends have seen it at all.
Compare that with the defeat Ulgoth the Modniir and his minions one in the Hinterlands and it gets pretty silly. On one character while playing through that zone I did the aforementioned event at least 5 times if not more. Maybe it isn’t as big an event or something but there is still a chest during that event and the boss is pretty big.
There are others but these two are probably the least frequent and most frequent given relative times in the zone for as far as I’ve got in the game.
