On land I swear by elementals. 60 seconds of distraction, good AoE damage from fire and the chill from water is actually more useful than you think (I tend to stay in fire/earth in combat). Now that they have the glyph cooldown trait working, you will have it available for most larger groups you decide to engage.

Once you level up some you will see its damage increase significantly, especially if you stack crit damage (it autocrits). If you are going to use it early on, the best way to use it is probably to pop it in a fire field for area might and a bit of damage and not try to use it as a finisher.

Time warp is the only elite I dare use in dungeons. Guild leader always shouts “OP Elite” when I pop it. Makes bosses dead fast. For that 10 seconds, you can just watch its health plummet. The confusion combo with iDuelist just sweetens the deal.

I am also getting this issue. Overclocked i7 930 using an Asus Xonar D2X sound card.
