Hey guys, so recently I’ve been playing Gw2 again and I’m loving it all over again !
I never played PvP and I want to get more in to that. So my question is if somebody has a great build for my sylvari thief that I can use in PvP, but I want to be able to use this build in PvE aswell because of the new expansion that will released in the future. The things I want i’n my build are D/D and shortbow + maybe a bit of a stealthy approach if that is possible. And ofcourse it needs to be effective haha !

@DanielGames hey Daniel i’m kinda stuck with the sigils and Armor you explained it wel but it seems not right wath i’ve done, if you wouldn’t mind could you add what armor i should use in the build plus sigils and re-send the build maybe, i took your advise on the armor and sigils but the thing is that i think i screwed it a bit up you know here and there so yeah, I don’t have all the knowledge of the Thief yet, it would be much appreciated if you would do that

I will most definitely check out your post, but ihave one quick question you said i needed to focus on Power, precision, ferocity and condition damage with my armor. But the thing is i don’t really know what sigils i need to use on my armor for when i have completed this build, and also what kind of DD/PP stats do i need to use also power or something else ?

Hey guys, so i made a Sylvari thief 3 days ago and i’m loving it, but the thing is that i don’t know how to make an effective PvE build, al the builds that I made didn’t have alot of effect so i was wondering if you guys had a good thief build and i would appreciate it if you would tell me what kinda gear i need cause i have no clue what i should be focusing on and the last thing is that the build must be Dual Dagger/ Dual Pistol just because i love that combination.

Hi there, I made a couple of days ago a post about finding a thief condition damage build with D / D and P / P but, it’s a very odd combination for a condition damage build so i’m asking you guys if you could make me a build with D / D and P / P with the following requirements :

- D / D and P / P
- Steath Backstab
- all purpose build, mainly PvE

And please also tell me what i need to do with my traits and what gear i should use ( Power, Healing power, precision, ), the runes and what accessory items i should use, same goes for the weapons ( Runes, power or precision, etc .. things i should know) !

First of all, thanks for all the replies and the support of helping me trying to find the optimal build. So I was thinking last night I maybe could use a power build, after talking to my friend, he 2 said i’d better be off with power as I told what kinda build I wanted. and i’m okay with that but i would still like to do some bleeding damage though. so D/D P/P power with a bit Bleeding damage .. could that be possible ?

But Shortbow would also be good .. but i’d rather have the pistols as secondary

So I am struggling to make a thief build, wich is why i made this topic.
I have tried alot of builds but nothing seems to work out for me, so i’m asking you guys if you know a Thief build wich has the following requirements :
- it needs to be D/D , P/P
- Condition damage build
- Bleed out build
- PvE
-No venom please

And i would love to know what kind of runes i need to use on my armor and what kind of armor i need to use (Vitality, Power, .. ), and also wich trinkets and other vanity items i need to use and what runes they need, The same goes for what runes i need to use on my Daggers and Pistols and what kind of Daggers and Pistols i need to have( Healing power, precision, ..) .
